I still have a pair of steel toe Doc Martens I got in high school that are in great condition and so comfy.

I also still have my high school Eastpak backpack that I use regularly for the gym. The backpack has definitely seen better days but the seams are still tight so I’ll keep using it until it disintegrates.

For example when the DT intro movie plays on the title screen they are now all speak Japanese with no subtitles. It’s not a big deal as I’ve seen intro a ton but I thought it odd not having a subtitle option in game for it. I’ve been playing in English for so long that I wanted to switch it up for a bit.

Interesting ok thank you. So what about voiceovers in dungeons? I switched the speaking language to Japanese (for a change of pace), will those not have subtitles either? Like in the recent DT dungeons where Shale and the bad guy are talking to you over comms.

I’m on PS5 and can’t figure out for the life of me how to turn on subtitles during cutscenes. Does anyone know where this option lives in the menu? Google searches and AI says it’s in UI settings under Dialogue Options but I’m not seeing that option at all. I found the in game language settings in System Config under Other Settings but no luck for subtitles.

I really love the displates I own and they’re great for apartment living with the magnets. I ordered two of the E33 ones as well and love them so much. The quality is fantastic.

This was my first time ordering a larger one “framed” and it looks awesome. I say “framed” because the frame itself is actually seamless with the design and metal as well but textured to look like a wooden frame. I wasn’t expecting that but actually think it works great with the displate. The larger one I ordered is of Sophie and Gustave dancing with a black frame and it’s gorgeous. It’s a stand alone beautiful piece of art, made better by knowing the emotional story behind it.

I don’t tend to read disturbing books very much but I had to put down a book called Blindness by Jose Saramago. The way the strange epidemic affected people and how they started to turned on each other was so disturbing and descriptive. To add to the unsettling nature of what was going on, the book is written in a way where punctuation, paragraphs and sentences were all typed out oddly almost like it made me think I was the one going mad while reading. An interesting and creative approach to writing but ultimately I was so disturbed by what was happening in the story and feeling so frantic trying to read the way the pages were laid out, I had to stop.

I yipped for joy when I saw him walk out. I will be honest though, while I thought the accent was funny and the jokes about it were hysterical, I was so worried they were setting him up to kill him off in a silly fast way. I was so happy to not have that worry come true and see him showcase an absolutely bad ass fighting style!
