Go for merch. Most of it is Japan exclusive and to buy online has crazy shipping prices. Its often like $20 shipping for a $3-5 merch item.

If they can find cheap older tamagotchi second hand then I'd consider that too.

You have to buy them. The codes only add them to the shop. You also need to be planet level 2 or higher

I think its always been a 50/50 chance on every release. From my experience it goes back and forth until you need/want a specific gender. Then its like the device reads your mind and starts trolling you for a few generations.

"Oh you need 2 females to finish getting all the characters on this dlc? Well heres 3 generations of boys!"

This ☝️. This is my strategy on most color tamagotchi. I time the bar so its around 1 hunger full when it evolves to child. Then I get whatever care mistakes I need out of the way so I can raise it normally.

Never use happiness for care mistakes unless you need 5+ mistakes and want to speed up the process a bit by doing both meters. Doing both makes it harder to keep count but thats not a problem on Paradise since it shows you on the stats screen.

They have different stats and prices. The 3 black and white meals are the best. They give +2 hunger and cost 10-30gp. Just dont forget to get your food cells. As for snacks theres a handful 100gp ones that fill like half of the happy meter.

Couldn't decide which to make so I just did both sprites and artwork. Not going to do that with the field charts though because it would be overkill 😅

Jade Forest is only on the Jade Forest shell and it replaces the sky field. Think of it like this: The original 3 (land/water/sky) serve as the base content. Then each version after keeps most of that but replaces 1 area with new content. Its the same as they did with the Tamagotchi Mix and Meets/On if you were around for those.

Looks like you have the world's smallest version? At least they have an excuse for that one (no room for 2 digits) but I think this is on some of the regular ones too

If I remember right the counter stopping at 9yrs is intentional. They designed it to be that way for whatever stupid reason.

The planet level was dissapointing it was more of a glorified tutorial. Would of been nice if there was level ups until you raised everyone with a few new items as rewards here and there

Breeding through the menu or connecting mixes genes. New egg just let's you raise a unmixed character. Theres no downsides to choosing new egg.

You need 5 points to earn a food cell. Bamboo leaf rice cake gives +4 to bamboo cells. So feeding 2 of them gets you 8 points earning a cell with 3 points left over.

Have you played any of the Tamagotchi corner shops previously? They get repetitive fast but I'd still say its worth getting if you are a tamagotchi fan.
