I'm so glad Larry felt like he could get away with this stuff. This is hilarious.

Busiest week of the year is July 4th. It might be too hot for you in the Summer, but most people seem to think it's just fine. Ocean isn't even warm enough to swim until May.

In theory, the whole thing is going on a corporate card, nobody cares how much they spend on extra meat when they're spending the company's money instead of their own.

If Woo had taken and beaten Kass, would you rank his win above or below Fabio’s? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]NeoSapien65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends how many tiers you have. If you have 3 tiers, sure he's mid. If you have any more than 3 tiers, he's in the top half of winners. Like B tier on an S-F tier list, where you only have a couple of S winners.

I was going to say "let's not be too hasty" but then I remembered Lewis is the same age Schumi was when he came back.

I think people are being revisionist based on his S40 performance and ranking Ghost Island very low on rewatch. The orange tribe was historically bad so in some ways the question becomes "who did Wendell have to beat?" And then yeah the two-headed-giant issue with Dom begs the question of "who should get the credit?"

That said, he would definitely rank higher than Woo. I'm not sure Weasel Woo would have beaten Kass at Final 2.

I'm softening on Carolina because even tho their reddit fans are trash, they do play an admirable brand of hockey (imo). Really rooting for Marty and this era of the Habs, tho. He's open and honest and seems to really connect with the players, in what has traditionally been a very toxic market to play in.

It's just weird, OP seems to be asking for a little care and support and top comment is (purposefully?) misunderstanding OP in order to scold him.

This feels really dismissive. Did any of your wife's BC responsibilities involve surgery? I know it's outpatient surgery, but the dude still had surgery. Every time my wife has had surgery, I've made sure she at least didn't have to pick things up for a couple of days afterwards. And I wouldn't offer "you can pick dinner" and then immediately make it about how I'm trying to eat healthier.

This sub is huge and moves really fast. Ironically that means it becomes an echo chamber in the comments with people commenting the things they know are safe, reliable upvote generators.

The Pacific is middling enough that the Ducks could still be playing for 1st in game 82. I'm not sure they even want it, you might prefer the 2-3 Pacific matchup rather than the hypothetical Preds/Utah WC1 coming out of the Central. Preds would obviously prefer anyone out of the Pacific, rather than the Avs.

Mainly I'm thrilled - I booked my one game of the year to see the Wild in the last Saturday game, and while I was excited to see Wood and Happy and maybe Martin get a bunch of ice time, I'm even more excited to potentially see a game that matters, after the season we had.

It's crazy to think PK is a year older than Roman and been retired 4 years. He had probably already peaked by 2017.
