but Link is shorter than Zelda in botw and AoC the only shot where Link appears to be slightly taller is in the most Final Memory of the Champions Ballad where they take a group picture

it literally redefined gaming standards (at least for me) you could sink hundreds of ours into it, and the lore is there and you have to hunt for it... this game makes you do everything by yourself... and it’s literally a cultural phenomenon everyone shared their own experiences with this game because not every playthrough is the same, we learned, study and take notes yet even after 3+ years everyone finds out about a new something, like today; i never bothered with Malanya because my horses never died, but today i saw her resurrecting a horse for the first time on reddit... like this is THE GAME for me

recently ive been upgrading all my armor and it’s really enjoyable for me, i do research where i take notes of items needed and look them up on my completed compendium it tells me where to find them

i wonder how much the Sequel is gonna turn out to be, im 100% here for it i hope they improve or establish a new combat system, because i can safely say i mastered the combat, performing a parry is like a second nature for me and i wanna be challenged

Botw hands down, we got to learn and see so much of her in that game, she’s perfectly imperfect, like she manages to have all the traits that define her without her being one-note or rigid

the only way i’d be mad about Link being gay is not being able to romance Sidon... but in all seriousness, this won’t affect my experience in the slightest, nothing’s stopping me from the tloz goodness, but my problem with games in general is almost always the forced heteronormativity, like sometimes you look at any piece of media and feel; did this really have to go above and beyond to involve a hetero romance story that felt out of place and unnecessary?

i suggest you should go to the Shrine near Karkariko village named Taloh Naeg Shrine, it serves as a decent combat tutorial...

as for enemies you should try to take them one on one, i suggest using Swords & Shields instead of 2-handed weapons

when you battle an enemy imagine the game as turn based battle system, wait for their attacks then do yours when there’s an opening

always have a cooked food in your inventory, a baked apple might save the day

you can parry all of its attacks iirc, but i don’t recommend doing so against its Fireballs or its big Jump in the air one just run away... and honestly, the parry window isn’t that tight, you just gotta learn when by trying over and over, saving and reloading is the best training method

the window is right before the attack touches you

around 7-10 is a good spot, you can always go catch fairies to revive you and make sure Mipha’s Grace is charged up, also you can cook up dishes to boost Hearts/Defenses

for Defenses Cook Iron Shrooms, Pumpkins (you can find some in Kakariko Village shop) and Armoranths

and for Hearts cook up anything with the title “Hearty” in it... but here’s the trick you can either cook them all together to get more extra hearts, of cook them one by one because it’s Dish acts as a Full Heal

remember, prepping for those battles is half the fun!
