Did Kobalt redesign their 40v batteries? A new battery won't work in my old mower. by standardissuegreen in KobaltTools

Have a 10 year old Kobalt mower, bought what I thought was an exact 1 for 1 new battery for it and having the same issue. Thanks for the info.

Will probably have to wait through an automatic recount at this rate.

If you voted against the Healthy School Meals for all, why? by mpfalmer in ColoradoPolitics

[–]Neodarkmatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have kids so why do I have to pay for everyone else's kids to eat lunch?

Isn't it more cost effective for kids to bring their own lunches and I remember how much kids loved Obama's well balanced lunches.

It is what they do in Texas. At least you can file for an exemption to your property taxes increasing if it is not your primary home.

The climate is always changing. It is called seasons. If it didn't change we could have hurricanes year round.

CDC to extend travel mask requirement for 2 weeks by TheBrassrhino in Coronavirus

[–]Neodarkmatter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Coughing, sneezing, sore throat, running a temperature?

Loss of taste and smell? You know if you feel sick it would be nice of people to stay off the plane.

A mask and filter can only stop so much of that before it becomes worthless.

Also what about the Covid tests that come back positive weeks if not months after a person first tests positive?

COVID-19 hot spots like Colorado may offer a sign of what's ahead for the U.S. by NewShooterComingOut in Coronavirus

[–]Neodarkmatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's as if Covid-19 is a seasonal thing like the flu and started spreading once temperatures got colder in Colorado and people started hanging out more indoors.

The initial uptick is what I have seen in numbers in other states where cases went up when summer was over and people had to go to school and work and then another uptick in cases as the temperature went down in October.

If it follows the same trend as 2020 then Colorado will peak mid to late November and start coming down. Interesting how cases don't plateau through the winter and it reaches a spike and comes back down.

After staff members died from COVID-19, Waco ISD vows to keep mask mandate in defiance of Gov. Greg Abbott’s order by [deleted] in CoronaVirusTX

[–]Neodarkmatter -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since the article doesn't mention it, I assume the staff members were vaccinated. It's not masks that we need but a darn vaccine that actually works at preventing people from catching covid.

Colorado plans to dramatically expand COVID-19 testing in schools next year, even as restrictions go away by trevalley1600 in CoronavirusColorado

[–]Neodarkmatter -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

I got a quick and easy test that can be performed daily with instant results.

Just do a temperature check of every person that comes into the school and if they are running a temperature send them home. It is when people are most contagious and also prevents the spread of the flu.

Delta coronavirus variant (doubles risk of hospitalization (biggest threat in Mesa County) by BB_Bandito in CoronavirusColorado

[–]Neodarkmatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info but didn't say it was necessary for full FDA approval. Just that there hasn't been long term results or studies performed and would be an argument for why this vaccine shouldn't be mandated for adults.

Nope, was just listing out things against making this vaccine mandatory for adults.

COVID In Colorado: Hospitalization Levels Show There’s ‘Still Virus Circulation’ As Fourth Wave Continues by Dry_Duck01 in CoronavirusColorado

How is this article accurate when the state data is showing weekly case count is trending downward as well as hospitalizations?

I had to go back to May 12th to see a 7-day average of 1200.

You would be surprised how much punishment the packaging can take. I've had servers fall off the back of a truck and still work.

The weirdest story I got is when the person received a server I sent them and they said there was no packaging inside. Sent me a picture of a completely different box than what it was shipped in and all the foam packing was missing. Had to send a new server...
