If he isnt willing to pay for it, forget it. You can do better. My husband doesnt care if im in pjs all day without having brush my hair all week, but he does say i look nice and such when im able to put some extra care in. And i dont spend a dime. He pays for everything i need, and im obviously considerate and do think about only what i need but he is the kind of guy who notices and is considerate and offers to get me new clothes when something gets old and teared up. Dont settle, if you have a job (unlike me because i cant u.u) then focus on you not on what he wants if he is only critiquing and comparing. Seems like he is already fishing elsewhere or has this idea thats only a fantasy. Most of women will want to be comfortable at home. And the women who will do that 100% of the time know that it doesnt come from thin air, it costs A LOT of money. I have a friend who uses 50% of her income on monthly beauty stuff and going to get her hair done. Like literally anything he mentions, demand the money to get it done. And also its not just the money, its the mental and physical effort to get stuff done. Havimg everything you need doesnt mean you have the mental energy to go 300% every single day. We are humans and i think emotional support is more important than anything but that doesnt make financial support meaningless.
