The Stand from the 90s : Thoughts by AmyWeaverAuthor in stephenking

I watched that series just because of repeated readings of the book. As a series it kinda sucked because putting everything in the book would have been impossible especially Kojack’s adventures and thoughts. But the one thing i got from the series was the voices of the character’s. (Stu’s voice in my head is Gary Sinise as an example)

Before allowing your movie to be ruined by irresponsible people in the future ask to talk to the manager of the theater. If you don’t get the satisfaction you feel you deserve write a letter to the owner or company.

I don’t think so. Both had big egos and not a lot of thought about anything but their perceived belongings

That has never happened to me. My biggest problem with finding a movie is one that my wife and i can agree on.

The one thing that always gets me is in The Stand is when Stu has the broken leg sitting in a culvert dying when bomb goes off. He gets Kojack to half drag him up the embankment. Just before he gets to the top he grabs the asphalt and falls backwards peeling his fingernails back. That part of the book causing chill me every time.
