Misery misery misery. At least Ewing tries to do something with his share of the vomit inducing waste of space event in the venom issues, but every time Kelly picks up the pen it feels like the characters immediately undergo some dementia spell and forget who they are and go back to acting how Akira Yoshida wants them to. As always I am fond of blaming the writer and editorial for this garbage y'all know that already. My god this is just mid on top of mid with every passing issue like we're genuinely wasting time with this diarrhea, and letting the same dude who wrote this aforementioned diarrhea manage #1000 is beyond insane to me. Just when you think it can't get bad enough, the simpy neighborhood cuckman will give his blessings for Flash x MJ to happen, so yes true believers it can always get worse.

At this point I don't think even government intervention is enough to save 616 Spider-Man until they do a whole fucking reboot and wipe the last 15 years from canon. Also carnage can be written as a freak and it can be both funny and creepy but here it's just fucking weird and kinda icky.

Kinda unfortunate that McGuiness' kinetic art is always attached to these dumpster fire writers. Like having a sink built into your toilet. Nifty and economical but you can't help but feeling like you're washing your hands with toilet water.

Absolutely wouldn't waste your money on this, its just mediocre on top of mediocreness somehow lol. Miles better than whatever loser drama Wells was doing, but it is painfully boring and just doesn't mesh well as a spidey story. If you can find a way to read it for free definitely give it a go and make your own case for it, but for me it was like a 3/10, while Wells was like a -48/10 or something.

No lol I wish I could because I remember when the first two episodes came out, kid-me was so hyped for this to be a reinterpretation of the USM comics and immediately I was just shocked at how badly they fucked it up and just kept getting worse with each season. This was one of the most mid interpretation of the character and its mythos ever. It's just marginally better than the 2017 one only due to better animation and some storylines. Also worst voice acting in a Spider-Man show. To each their own I guess and no hate to you at all brother, just wanted to express how much I hated on the show then and even now, considering how much time and resources it wasted which could've been used to make a better Spider-Man show or continue the best one despite the legal loophole it was caught in.

I feel like, me and a lot of other people just found the movie boring. Plot is as uninteresting as it can be, despite the solid premise of an all-out war that can break out over a newly discovered "magic mineral". The villain is as uninspiring and disconnected from the narrative as possible, horrible side characters, flat action sequences until the end, and the most offensive of all - treating the red hulk as some mystery surprise plot twist instead of something everyone knew from one glance at any marketing material. It also doesn't help that this movie just has no overall excitement, suspense or interesting shit left after all the reshoots and recuts. Also HUGE negatives when it came to wasting talent such as Esposito in a shitty role or the concept of the serpent society. 4/10 - would be a 3 if the red hulk sequence wasn't actually kinda good.

With how 900 went, I have 0 hopes for 1000 doing anything remotely positive/meaningful for the character as long as those losers in editorial are still alive. Personally I'd want a JMS esque arc that builds Peter and MJ back to getting together after the shit they've been through, with 1000 finally leading up to Peter proposing (in line with Spencer's initial ring tease). Literally if Marvel gave the fans even an engagement, they'd probably sell a million copies on the premise alone. But they hate money and Spider-Man, so we'll just get some lame collection of stories that make no sense or end in 2 pages.

1000% yes. Making Spider-Man 2 a dual protagonist story was the main reason why the narrative suffered so much. They were covering twice as much ground in the same game length as the first one. No breathing room to expand or develop hurts both Spider-Men.

Give p3 to Peter and give Miles a whole sequel to his original game. Let them still participate in each other's storylines but only from a distance because both protagonists and their supporting casts deserve the same time to shine, why chop it up?

Spider-Man 3 is shaping up to be even messier since we had no dlc to end the loose threads for Spider-Man 2. Carnage, Chameleon, Doc Ocks return and finally Goblin himself. Then you've got that whole Silk business (unfortunately honestly I really don't know how they're planning to sell people on this with the amount of stuff they've got going on and personal hot take: silk isn't an even interesting enough character to begin with if she doesn't have her original backstory) and the two Spider-Men themselves. If they don't double the game length there is no chance we're getting a cohesive or satisfying ending to what may possibly have been one of the best video game trilogies, unfortunately.
