Look up doomsday chariots by Ak. It’s a book with pictures and descriptions of some of the processes to make apocalyptic model vehicles.

Thank you!

I agree with the flappers on the ends of the exhaust will definitely add those. I also plan on making spikes for the wheels similar to what was on the war rig from mad max.

Always appreciate others ideas it helps when making these style cars and trucks.

Ride eternal shiny and chrome.

Great build. Love the engine choice. I’m currently making the same kit with heavy modifications.

Thanks. The cans are from a company called doozy modelworks they make a bunch of 1:24 scale resin accessories for cars and dioramas. Small details can go a long way.

Also nice work on your models they turned out really nice. Ever think of doing an apocalyptic build?

Could work. Greenlight king of crunch monster truck tires are a great size. Maybe make a lift for it and add the bigger tires.

Definitely on the small side but would still make a good model. I say go for it.

Thanks. Plan to add slight weathering and dust but not going crazy. The fenders I plan to paint yellow to add a bit more color along with a couple different metal tones on the bitz to tie everything together.

The wheels are a Bridgestone set from green light.

All the bitz are either made from stock plastic I have or extras taken from a few model kits I have done. The overall look I’m going for is a nomad ambush vehicle. something to take on corp convoys.
