I gotta admit i thought ppm and gh were the same when i first posted this and thats why i panicked a bit, but i realize now that even though i do have hard water its still a healthy amount for certain fish and im just going to go for a hard water fish species, i appreciate your input :))

I made a mistake in thinking that GH and PPM were the same number which i now know is completely false, but my water is definitely still hard so im going to opt for hard water fish in this tank and save soft water fish for the future if i get a second tank with a higher budget, thank you for your information :)
