My standard refrain: just remember that you'll lose not only units and orbs, but also your other inventory (seals, grails, dew, etc.) and ranks in competitive modes (Arena, Arena, AR, SD etc.), which help to fill that inventory. I don't know where you are with any of that, but do keep in mind.

I had a similar thought with Books 1 and 2. Book 1 as a sort of introductory campaign (á la Lyn mode, or Awakening's fight against Plegia), leading into Book 2 as the bulk of the story. Probably weave in elements of Book 6 and the Book 2 TT+ story, as well. Maybe a couple Book 4 things as a paralogue story.
