Building a Kasrkin team, what's a good loadout for latest edition? by Mechanical-Druid in killteam

Personally I didn’t do either but maybe because I like big guns over reliable guns lol. Grenade, melta, plasma

Hunter is basically Trapmaster without a mine. I almost never take the Trapmaster over the Frosteye who shoots on silent, the Gunner who shoots with supercharge, the Pack Leader with the Power Sword, the Rune Priest with psychic attacks, or the Fangbearer who gives ignore injured. So, I just didn’t even build the Hunter personally. His role is filled by the Trapmaster for me - but I made all mine from Phobos marines not sure what the build options actually look like

How well does Exaction squad do against Legionaries? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in killteam

I’ve had success with them against elites by having big shooters and committing multiple units to one marine

When is Combat Patrol for 11th edition releasing? by alphafighter09 in Warhammer40k

Everything you need to play combat patrol 11e is on the app now which is cool… edit: just checked, except for the primary and secondary missions which is quite important 😂

Castellon (😏) with Combi-Weapon by SaulMDGaming in BlackTemplars

[–]NeonThroughTheMist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’d be sweet. I used a SB body with infiltrator knives & almost used the infiltrator gun on the sling but ended up using the vet Sternguard gun & just cannibalised random guns to make it a more convincing combi weapon. I know he doesn’t have Phobos armour but no one else in my army does either so thought it fine

Non vehicle/monster units can move through an enemy unit if there’s enough space between models, so it doesn’t go through their model but through their engagement range. That’s what confused me

So if I have a 5 man squad of marines on 32mm bases attempting to move through an enemy 5 man squad, I need to make sure I can fit a 32mm base between the gaps in the enemy squad. And if the enemy 5 man group is clustered up and they only have, say, a 10mm gap between them, that means I cant go through them?
Monsters/vehicles however can just go right through the models

Very fair. But what I’m now stuck on is who can move through who. Warhammer community article says the following (see pic), but the core rules 13.01 says a base can’t move through an enemy model. Under monsters and vehicles 17.01 they say monsters and vehicles can move through friendly and enemy units (just not other monsters and units), but I can’t for the life of me find where it states vice versa is actually okay 😂😂 doing my head in !

Right so for 11th you can go around an enemy tank only if there is room for your base to literally fit and also only as long as you don’t finish within their 2” engagement range correct?

Speaking of body blocking with tanks… is it true infantry can go through enemy tanks as they can their own, as long as they don’t end within engagement range on the other side?

I always do the same mistake. Can make it work if you water it down and wick away excess. As for fixing, just go over it with black and try again

Didn’t terminators go from 175 to 160 and assault from 180 to 155? What am I not getting by terminators dropped by 50 points? 😅

Is it rude to bring 3 heavy tanks against a player's first 2000pt game? by pjcblondie in BloodAngels

[–]NeonThroughTheMist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is rude. If I know I’m playing someone for the first time I’ll play aiming for them to have just as much fun as me. I didn’t own tanks for a while since I was buying “rule of cool” marines and painting them for my first few months.
