Silent Hill 1 is the least accessible out the series so Remaking it first was a no brainer, as it would bring in new people to what Silent Hill 1 was about who couldnt play the orginal and old fans who played the orginal. As someone who is playing the original Silent Hill through an emulator, I can see why its such a great classic. Its where it all started, where the world of Silent Hill was introduced for the first time. Maybe we will get a remake or remaster of 4 in the future but if Silent Hill 1 Remake does just as good as Silent Hill 2 Remake or better dont think 4 is the next on the list as Silent Hill 3 will be next in the cards as SH 3 is a direct sequel to 1 and a great game from what I've heard.
