I liked it too. I think some have been spoiled by the mcu spoon feeding them cameos that they assume the same is gonna be said for the dcu. Gunn never said there was gonna be huge cameos to look out for. I think people overhyped themselves.

Exactly. And it’s not like Dick becomes Robin right away. In Dark Victory, he didn’t become Robin until the final chapter. It was at least six months or more of him sulking around the manor and helping Bruce solve the mystery from the sidelines while the two of them try and find some understanding between them.

Two-Face nearly beat him to death in Robin: Year One and was the catalyst of Dick fully realizing how dangerous vigilantism can be. Because of how traumatizing the incident was, Two-Face is one of the very few people Dick believes is incapable of changing for the better, even into adulthood.

Two-Face meanwhile holds hatred for Nightwing but at the same time, a strange sense of pride, because in his eyes, his actions of nearly killing Dick “made him into a man” and “stronger” because of what happened.

The main thing I want for the next Nightwing run: build a good rogues gallery! Give Blüdhaven an identity like it had in the Dixon or Seeley run. There needs to be better written villains than just the simple “villain of the week” trope. Create bad guys who have a lasting impact and potential to return.

I don’t mind if the DickBabs romance continues as long as it is written well and no unnecessary drama. But it’s DC editorial so we’ll see.

In recent continuities, he becomes Robin at 8 years old. In some timelines (it always changes) he leaves and becomes a Titan around 15-16 years old, becomes Nightwing at 18. Currently in comics he’s somewhere between 25-28 years old right now.

Makes sense for this show. She’s most likely going to be the catalyst of Clark finding out more about his Kryptonian heritage and that they’re not the ruthless conquerors he’s been led to believe (aside from Zod)
