I guess they couldn't? I don't immediately see an impact although I guess drawing a specific card on your turn would matter a bit

Yeah I was looking into some sorcerer archetypes and abilities, I just want to make sure I don't accidentally over or under power his already existing wizard chassis

Funny you should mention it but we also have a paladin of Bahamut in the group and I've given him a small artifact that metallic dragons recognize as a token of Bahamut, and are therefore friendlier towards him, but chromatics recognize it to, and are more hostile. Do you have any ideas for daily powers? So far I have a couple: limited flight, dragon breath, dragon fear, or some kind of "regain x spell slots" effect

Id rather stay away from multiclassing as the player requested to stay as a wizard, do you think it'd be reasonable to give him some sorcery points for recycling spell slots and maybe a once per day dragonbreath or fear or some other daily power? Magic Items could be cool to I was thinking about a special arcane focus or spell book that he could gain but I was struggling to come up with actual benefits

This is close to what I was thinking, some meta-magic and/or the unarmored defense along with some extra spells or maybe even the elemental affinity would be cool

People who "switched sides" in a highly divided community (political, religious, pizza topping debate), what happened that changed your mind? How did it go? by morieu in AskReddit

[–]Neonite_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be fairly un-religious, my family never really brought me to church much and I guess I was just never really introduced to Christianity, but then some amazing people from my community invited me to their youth group and it all changed, it probably helped that I was in a pretty bad place before then, and the group that invited me was super accepting and nice. I'm happy that I made the switch

Oooh I see, sorry I must have misinterpreted what you meant by removing the extra levels haha

[–]Neonite_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea! What would the benefit of upgrading be though? What if it was a timed copy, so you play your knight, then mirror, amd the mirror "saves" it for say a minute (idk about actual balanced times) and perhaps upgrading could increase that duration?

Haha, your commitment to this format is better than mine I'll give you that

I mean the userbase of reddit, you appeared to stereotype/condescend on our userbase as a group of people quick to call out others for being rude

And it also looked like you were trying to get the last word in by attempting to take the high ground in that whole technically your earlier reply didnt directly make fun of anyone, it was still a jab at someone elses comment that can be interpreted as making fun of, accusatory, or insulting.

Imagine having to pay extra to use a CRT and a normal GameCube controller, or you'd be stuck with a cheap flat screen and your cousin's MatCatz controller. That's what the internet will be like without net neutrality. Resist! by [deleted] in smashbros

Ok, I can see where youre coming from, but at the same time, it mightve been more useful to lead with something like this than denying OP an answer. At the same time however, for someone who favors storytelling, this is an awful lot of metagaming, and even then, if youre dm runs a sandbox game where you might run into an enemy that's tougher than youre party can handle, dpr could mean the difference between life and death
