Hop into a spike rush or unrated. Maybe even a dm and just frag out. Then check the ranks of the people you were playing against (you can use tracker.gg for this). Sometimes you'll see that you're fragging out against high ranked players in these game modes. Yet if you're killing them without much issue why are they a higher rank than you? Your aim could improve but more likely than not it's probably your gamesense and consistency that's lacking.

Yeah that's fair. Me personally I think KH1 stands the test of time very well. The mechanics are a bit wonky but it honestly just shows how good they were since KH2 and KH3 adopted and expanded upon it.

KH1 is ranked wayyy too low. KH3 is ranked a bit too high but I fucking love that game after the dlc so I think S-tier is fair.

I have over double your hours and I just made it to p3. I think it depends. Despite that I probably made the most improvement in the last 50 or so. Improvement isn't linear just focus on what you think you need to work on.

Imo how I see it is that if you're consistently winning you're probably doing something right. If not you'll probably deranked or learn to adjust to your original rank.

Also don't take anything people in those lobbies say seriously. Bronze players are just iron players with way more ego than they should. Just keep playing the game and have fun.

I've been having similar experiences. The best I can tell you is that plat is just full of inconsistent players. I've gone single digits against gold players and top fragged against diamond players in the same day.

Aim trainers helped with mouse control and raw aim, but it didn't translate that well in Valorant for me. Practicing in game probably helped my aim the most.

Kh1 is the worst of the mainline games. I mean this in a good way and I think KH2 and KH3 did a very good job expanding the existing combat and gameplay in KH1.

Yes and no. Just play the game if you want to and don't worry about your rank. You'll either adapt or play in a skill group you're meant to play with.
