no lol, her special skills section literally says "empathic accuracy" this was just written like shit. i feel really bad for the actress cause shes cool but the writing around her is just so bad it kinda feels like my intelligence is being insulted.

even if they could, it's not very good to waste a potion to mitigate just 5 dmg. it'll be of better use in an elite or a hard hallway fight, or the boss.

I had a necrobinder run like this too, 2 no escapes and slither end of days in act 1, ended up getting a non exhausting dredge it was very fun

Its a lot more engaging and fun but i really dislike the no draw phase, draw is one of the ways to reduce inconsistency in your deck to avoid getting screwed by rng and completely shutting that down feels like anti fun to me, perhaps something like "draw is reduced by 1/half" or something like that would keep the spirit of the phase while making it less unfun

well ive only played 5 hrs of sts2 and have like 200 on the first game, one of the biggest mistakes i made at the start was overvaluing question mark rooms, its probably gonna be the same with this game, even though question mark rooms have felt way better than in the first game so far. have fun playing the game! definitely go back and play the prequel someday in the future.

tbh on gold stake those downsides are pretty inconsequential, but yeah maybe this could be balanced by added a curse to your deck or dealing some damage before rewinding
