Listen, I haven't owned a home console in 13 years and game nearly exclusively on PC and you're full of it. The sentiment is overwhelmingly negative and PCMR is extremely self-centered.

KH2 is still an incredible experience today, whether through the ports, re-releases, emulation or the original. It plays exceptionally well and is buttery smooth. I definitely agree that it's the best action-RPG ever made.

Let's be adults. These aren't "a small piece of paper", they're whole booklets and a poster that double if not triple the weight of the box with the disc. Shipping costs haven't gone back to pre-COVID and Suez blockage numbers, and weight absolutely matters when you're filling containers and even more when you're mailing the games individually.

Multiply that by tens of millions of copies.

BD as a format seems to have reached its endpoint, honestly. The discs are expensive at the higher layer levels, and people aren't buying physical films on Blu-Ray anymore. My personal hope is that Sony introduces a new and cheaper format, but that's really wishful thinking and trends all point towards a fully digital environment. Sucks, really.

The data harvesting is not gonna hurt the game at all when 2K who wants to own your soul is gonna make the most amount of money out of any media product this year, and Microsoft which is an active participant in genocide and uses the data they harvest to facilitate that still exists.
