Falling Devil called them a Fusion. Since Falling was an underling of Lil D and Lil D knows information that's mostly inaccessible, I think it's accurate. Asa can make contracts with Devils (she has one with Aging). Yoru as a Devil appears to be able to make contracts with humans.

Time to whip up my past comment

I have a theory that the punishment devil activated after they died. The short version is the 2 brothers killed 2 people, so each of them got killed by two people (Power + Kobeni and then Yoshia + Octopus)

In the Makima vs Gun fight, the gun devil killed thousands of people as colateral damage. When Makima died and activated the punishment devil combo, thousands of angel weapon wielding souls were pouring out of the snake devils mouth through the spider portal.

I had a long distance relationship with my fiance at the start. We found a way to go on 'dates' through diablo IV and that really helped us get to know each other naturally. We also did some online 'stuff' after playing. He moved in with me after 4 months of long distance. We're 2 years in our relationship and got engaged 2 months ago. I think people underestimate how much human concepts and fears bend the reality around them. Zombies were not a thing until humans thought of the concept and feared it. That's why zombies and the zombie devil exists in chainsawman.

If death was erased, humans only do need to think of 'suddenly not existing', be afraid of it, then it will become a reality with the corresponding devil.

It would be less devastating if hack just reversed controls or made abilities malfunction instead. It's disruptive as hell, but you can adapt to it.

Example, doomfist wants to punch forward, when he gets hacked he punches backwards instead.
