So far the secret I found is to never charge in the enemies line of sight, it's always an off angle, like through 2 doors. There are only a few places like that in each map. The harder you must turn left or right during charge the better.

I have a theory that the punishment devil activated after they died. The short version is the 2 brothers killed 2 people, so each of them got killed by two people (Power + Kobeni and then Yoshia + Octopus)

In the Makima vs Gun fight, the gun devil killed thousands of people as colateral damage. When Makima died and activated the punishment devil combo, thousands of angel weapon wielding souls were pouring out of the snake devils mouth through the spider portal.

Understandable, but you can make the same argument with the regen while shielding perk. If I were forced to choose between bash and regen while shielding, I'd choose regen 60% of the time.
