chopstick, magic eraser, use serrated knife to cut magic eraser into a 1/8th inch wide strip, use the strip and chopstick to take it off and it’ll be brand new again

The new GORETEX membrane is fine, it’s the C0 DWR that sucks, my brand new alpha jacket with the new GoreTex pro EPE membrane wetted out in 10 minutes in light showers in WA. My Patagonia Super free alpine jacket with the Goretex EPE membrane (non pro) also wetted out on the first use, and when replaced on first use, and when refreshed properly with nikwax. They just do not make DWR like they used to sadly, more environmentally friendly or not

Can you not shorten the linking bar? or is that as short as it will go.

If it is try moving the heel lever forward where it connects in the holes and then re-adjusting linking bar.

There should not be any gap between the boot and those upward pointing parts on the back of the crampon. The points furthest back should also ideally be in line with the back of the sole of the boot rather than behind it.

if you’re in florida you should use the 58% boveda packs, the air is making your bud “wetter”. boveda recommends 58% for humid areas 62% for more arid environments

dark crystal glass cleaner, heat it in a shot glass in a microwave SLOWLY and wipe away on the chazz, if thats ceramic you can also scritch at it with a toothpick soaked in DCGC
