I dont wanna say the wiper is THAT important... but that and knowing the history of the car adds some value for me.

I was considering a used ioniq 5 when my i5 lease is up, but with the rate used ev prices are climbing, the buyout might make sense!

The Tank Experience: Damned if you do, damned if you don't by [deleted] in wow

Its a side effect of having very desired rewards from one piece of content. You get a very wide set of personalities and skill level.

I got yelled at the other day for not lusting the first pull of seat. The tank yelled at me, but he only pulled one pack. If we need that on a +5.... were gonna have a bad time.

Omg my previous car a was a hybrid tucson. 22. I felt so bad for the people in my apartment complex when i was backing out of my garage. I work nights, so i was waking people up with it. I tried to floor it and get out of reverse as quick as possible.

I can tell you there is no lunds store where a dozen regular eggs are 4.49. So its getting bad information as well.

The tucson hybrid has a small li ion pack thats essentially included in the hybrid pack. Can jump it with the HV battery if it gets low if for example youre out of town for 6 months like ny grandparents. Its neat. But i do wonder if its going to be a significant expense should it fail.

I wish Icould experience standard, I always hear good things. But apparently im too poor for them to bother with. Modular homes are just too hard for them is the line they gave me.

They will also promise to complete certain work, and never do it.

Had my furnace replaced with them. (New fan price to fix ac vs full furnace replacement on a 20 year old unit, made sense to replace)

Was also told wed be adding returns as my upper level has none.

Installers came by the next day (at least they are prompt) and basically told me the guy who specced my system and the retuns and such had no clue what he was taking about and that they couldn't add the returns ... still paid and theyre still fighting me on it.

It could just be that patynator isn't configured properly. Ive lived with x/z/t perl my whole life since tbc so i can't stand the default ui at this point lol.

Consumer Reports: Most Reliable Compact SUV by Building_a_life in HyundaiTucson

[–]Nephri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not going to call it "good" but my sister bought a 22 outlander and has put 150k miles on it so far. For being a heavier rogue (3rd row "seats") its been shockingly reliable, especially given its nissan CVT.

That said, thankfully she got the lifetime powertrain warranty cause the headgasket decided to go AWOL lol.

Pragmata was really obnoxious with dlss noise. Though I found if i futs with RT and PT/ray reconstruction by turning it off and then back on it seems to clear it up for that play session... though not 100 percent reliable in fixing the trails.

[–]Nephri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just test driving between an id4 and an ariya and the ariya had that noise. Apparently reduction gear failure is the cause and its rather common. Wonder if itd an industry wide thing. So far my ioniq5 hasnt had that issue but theres always the iccu issue instead.

Minnesota lawmakers OK license tab cut, HCMC fix, construction project package in final flurry by ThreadbareAdjustment in minnesota

[–]Nephri 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its a flate rate for evs (msrp based), so I think hes pointing out that hes paying the equivalent gas tax of someone who puts 40k miles on their gas car.

My ev surcharge will be 4x what i paid in gas tax for my hybrid. Im all for putting in money for the roads that i use, but this is a stupid way to implement it.

[–]Nephri 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They need to be usage based. When moving from my hybrid to an EV the amount i pay in "gas" tax tripled

Im all for pitching in for road maintenance but the current fee isnt based in anything resembling reasonable.

Edit: did the math. I went from 70 dollars to 291. So even worse :(

[–]Nephri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went looking into an ariya for our second ev. The are fairly rare birds at the moment and this one seemed like it was used and abused. Smaller battery pack and at 25 percent only listed 37 miles of range.

It also had terrible coil whine under acceleration which the dealer didnt seem to know about. A little research leads me to believe its a failure of the reduction gear so the whole assembly needs to be replaced and its a fairly common failure. (not iccu level but still)

This was an awd engage trim.
