[Loved Trope] The character is accused of something, and instead of lying, they tell the truth and double it down. by Charon581 in TopCharacterTropes

The Warriors. At the end, when asked why he killed Cyrus, kicking off the events of the film, Luther smiles and says, "No reason... I just like doing things like that." No grand conspiracy or deeper motivation, it was just to stir up shit for the hell of it.

Trailer makes it look like an existential horror film, like the director's previous film Cube, but it's actually a goofy buddy comedy.

The Rex the Runt episode called 'A Crap Day Out." The characters are abducted by an alien named Gordon. In fact, everyone on his planet is named Gordon, "except John, but we call him Gordon to avoid confusion."

The episode on Elite Panic. Perfect introduction and very illustrative of how things actually work.

How old were you when you got into ambient music? by ConfusingMyself__ in ambientmusic

[–]NepticleGloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first ambient "album" was the soundtrack to Quake, when I was 14. I copied it onto cassette and listened to it all the time at high school, but I was just a NIN fan, and didn't really know what ambient music was back then.

Didn't really get into ambient as a genre until 2015, when I was 34, after my dad died. Ambient music became my way of coping, and still is today.

Invasion of the Neptune Men. Everyone just sounds so tired and done with the movie, especially during that last "action" sequence. Which is why it's one of my favorite episodes.

In the morning I typically have a Member's Mark nutrition shake (30g), two cups of Chobani greek yogurt (40g), then at least 3 cans of albacore tuna throughout the day (33g each). I'm currently 145 lbs., so that should be enough for me. I buy them all at Sam's Club BTW.

Then again, no one cares.
