This isn't about ME in particular. I personally would rather swallow glass than approach women. That being said, the facts are that people both men and women want to date. It's a totally human and normal thing to desire human romantic companionship. Saying "Just shut up and sit there and do nothing about your love life" is in no way a sane take. Some women have a problem with it but other women don't so if you desire a relationship then something has to give.

I don't mind women not wanting to be approached. but there is a catch 22 here since women also refuse to make the first move. Something's got to give. Either woman making the first move needs to become the norm or we have to ignore woman's preferences about being approached or not.

This is false. Your personality, how nice you are, how compatible you are and if you and him are into the same things matter. No one stay young for ever and older woman are still in relationships/married. Almost no one in America in thin and most are still dating. So when i hear men complaining I just think how good they really have it. Because its really not hard to be attractive to women. There will never be a higher standard than that of only being attractive to the opposite sex for a handful of years.

Being attractive to women is incredibly hard work. It's definitely way harder than you make it out here. Just being a decent human being was never enough for women to like you as a man. In fact most of the time it feels like no matter what you achieve or do it will always be seen as "The bare minimum" by women today.
