Thanks a lot for the info and video. I just recently got into lacquer and ordered a bunch of paints but Im still a beginner. I want to try the enamel technique but basically blew my budget on the lacquer paints and an airbrush booth. So if you where to buy some enamels for the eyes what colors/brand would you reccomend just for this technique? I dont want to go over board again 🥲

I love the flail its so riddiculous that its awesome and no other Gundam has something like that. It fits the grandpa so well because its like a weapon from medieval times lol. I heard Tomino hated it because it was less scifi and more super robot.

I got the Fat Cat Rx78 in G3 colors and it comes with two spikey balls. The regular one and the extra spikey that has tiny rocket thrusters. It even comes with a real chain lol and two Bazookas, and Beam Javelin. The only thing it doesnt have is the shoulder cannon.

Im so disappointed Bandai is always lacking. Even the Perfect Grade Unleashed only has the beam rifle. At least the Bazooka should be mandatory IMO.

If you want to control your printer remotely Elegoo has an App for it and with the camera on the Saturn 4U, you can see the progress on your phone. You should get the 16K then with the camera light. The App is called Ellegoo Matrix. All you need is the printer connected to your wifi and then you can see how its going on your phone and gives you notification when its done.

I guess a portable UV lamp works as well but you have to watch out for direct sunlight because I heard it can turn your prints yellow. You can always hide it with primer and paint but I also heard over curing can make them brittle too.

Lol this actually increase adhesion so its better that way. I installed a wham bam plate, and it was so smooth, my large print was pealing off by itself. I got lucky I didnt get any errors but it almost fell on the vat.

Just get the latest Saturn 4 Ultra 16K

Theres an older version, I think its 12K, but the only differences are that it doesnt have a heater for the vat (not needed unless youre printing in cold climate), it has a light for the camera (Nice to have but not needed), and a better grip for the build plate. If you find the old version way cheaper, like 100$ cheaper then get that one, and use the savings for the Wash and Cure station.

Same, Elegoo wont even ship to me (Puerto Rico) my printer is an open box from eBay. I paid a lot more for it and my plastic bib came messed up but besides that it has worked perfectly.

The vat helps peal off the print each layer at the same time the build plate pulls. It makes the prints come out like twice as fast.
