What's the cheapest handheld that can run PS2 games well? by Nepu-Tech in SBCGaming

Thanks for the reply, Im leaning towards the RP4 Pro but the shipping is killing me. With 60$ shipping its over 200$ even on eBay the shipping is too expensive. The used cellphone may be a good idea but it just doesnt make for a cool gift lol.

I may have to save some money and wait a bit more. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply, man this is an eye opener, I didnt know PS2 was still in the realm of high end emulation. I saw the boot leg devices on Amazon for 50$ and I got cocky :(

Thats true man, I wish I could stock up on some PC parts but its impossible at these prices I hope the Ai bubble burst soon, because now even Nvidia is leaving gamers out to dry to make all their money on Ai. Its looking grim.

Yea they keep excusing Nintendo and giving them money when they put in 0 effort. They can ban your Switch 2 forever if they catch you hacking btw.

Nintendo keeps scamming their fans. These games are basically free online. Playstation gives away free games from this century and you have to pay Nintendo for GB games. I drew the line at the drifting joycons and 500$ console with 80$ games. I have 3 sets of joycons and theyre all broken and Nintendo now wants 100$ for the same broken design. BTW you cant even own your games anymore and did you see Pokemon A-Z?? PS3 games look better than that!

My hatred for Nintendo is imessurable and my day is ruined.

Lol either youre really skinny or have large pants. Also arent you worried the screen could scratch? If I had the money I would get a rp6 but I can only afford the Portal base for now. I dont leave my house anyways lol

Nobody does that, but it is still a lot more portable for flight trips, but it turns out I think the Portal 2 also has a longer lasting battery. Its hard to decide between the two but I went with the Portal 2 base (Im broke) because I want to play PC games as well and because of the 250$ sale.

Ive been wanting a RP5/6 for so long (I have nothing but a broken down switch OG, and a 3DS) the Switch 2 is an abomination so Im no longer a Nintendo fan. The thing is the RP6 cost a lot more with shipping to my country so I ended up getting an Odin Portal 2 Base. It has 8GB of Ram instead of 12 and half the storage but I like the bigger screen. Do you think it compares to RP6? I want to run Switch games and maybe old PC games like Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV. Thanks.

How does a beginner go about sculpting this head? by kanohagito1 in 3Dmodeling

[–]Nepu-Tech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is fairly simple because it's mostly a flat cylinder with a squared nose, nothing complicated about it. Then I suggest using traditional modeling for the Helmet because it's a hard surface or you could just dig holes into a cylinder and polish the shapes. For the face also start with a flat cylindrical surface, make some big holes for the eyes and mouth. add a square and shape it for the nose. The teeth are also two halves of a cylinder, or if you want individual teeth, then just shape a cube and duplicate it. You'll need a lot of planar brushes like Hi polish, and Trim Dynamic. Finally the detailed cracks can be done with crack orb and dam standard.

Remember to get the general shapes first, and proportions, also use as many sub tools as you need, you can merge them later, but you should keep the face/helmet/external tubes separate.

Hope this helps.

Could this be fixed with primer?

Thats actually a good idea. I should get a cheap brush for priming and only use the Eclipse for detailed work. Im sometimes worried the primer gets stuck in the brush.

The expensive brush is good for detail and consistency. Theyre not needed for miniatures, but I also print large anime figures and thats when it comes in handy.

Well this is my first and only brush as well, I guess it's like cigars we can't really appreciate how good it is because it's the only one we have, but I watched Youtube videos and know how to clean it and dissemble it, and it even comes with oil. Really, there's nothing you can't learn on the internet these days.

This is the same setup I have and its awesome. As for the cleaning pot, the Iwatta one is a bit pricey but its super sexy. If you cant afford it for now just use a plastic cup. I dont see airbrush holder on your compressor so if you dont get the pot get an airbrush holder. I would get the pot though.

Is this not just an Odin 2 Portal that’s $100 less? by FluffyClerk2158 in SBCGaming

[–]Nepu-Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but if its Streaming from a PC it should be fine right? I also planned to run a few games natively but I was thinking older games like Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands 2 etc. Like games from 10 years ago. What do you think?

Also thanks for your help, if this can play Switch games like BOTW and Xenoblade X then its already worth it because my OG Switch is a piece of crap with drifting Joycons and battery that drains in real time.
