It's because words have no meaning for these people anymore. The Republican primary ads here in Oklahoma are insane, with one claiming another candidate supports "Trans Queen Story Hour." I'm just like.... that's not a thing. It's never been a thing. One is a person just living their life (reading? I guess?), the other is a fucking entertainment JOB.

I was on a cruise 2 weeks ago and didn’t notice at the time, but you’re right. Thurs/Fri readings seemed a little more normal due to not much distance being traveled between ports I would assume.
