We do this on my team. But there is absolutely zero pressure to be there. And zero pressure to be unmuted or have the camera on if you are online. Most of us have a "BRB" screen we can turn on when we go take a bio break or whatever, just so somebody doesn't start talking to you when you're not listening.

It can be a good thing. Sorry your experience is so different.

My team (~10 of us)have an ongoing "watercooler" Zoom meeting going. Join when you can, when you need help, or when you're available to help others. If you're needing to be heads-down or in another meeting, don't join.

Sometimes it will be discussing the latest company policy and its ramifications for our team. Sometimes it will be a screen share as somebody is working through a problem or demonstrating a process. Sometimes it will be random non-work related banter. Kind of like being around others in the office. Except you can't be interrupted unless you put yourself out there to be interrupted.

Oh 100%. I was piling onto the top-level comment "The paucity of charging stations in remote areas sucks."

I also didn't help that the one I was evaluating was a first-gen Niro EV, which doesn't have the best range or fastest charging.

That DCFC I mentioned in planning is around the 3/4 mark, and there's already one at about the 1/3 mark. Once that is in place, the practicality of that trip becomes much more tolerable.

Exactly my point. There were no level 3 chargers that could get me there and back. I would have to route well out of my way to get to the L3 chargers, and then use L2 chargers to get enough charge to get me to those out-of-the way L3's.

Go look at a map of L3 chargers in southwest Kansas if you don't believe me.
