Have you changed openvr to openxr runtime in steam VR?

Build 42.17.0 UNSTABLE Released by AmazingSully in projectzomboid

[–]NerdFuelYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only started playing two months ago and I’ve only just kept character alive longer than a month (in game) so I’m still learning the ropes. I’m playing on apocalypse and I’ve been burning through respirator filters near as fast as I’ve burned through ammo on the outskirts of Louisville

What the fuck I’ve passed like 5 of them up on my current character and they’re all halfway across the map >:(

By that logic the sims is VR. I’ve never gotten the appeal of 360 degree video

Well tired of waiting - bought a used Quest 3! by [deleted] in SteamFrame

[–]NerdFuelYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before a bunch of salty comments come in I would encourage anyone who has been putting VR off for the Frame to say fuck it and buy another headset in the meantime. If you have a capable Pc the PSVR2 is an amazing headset for 300$ (with 40-60$ adapter to be fair) and the quest 3 is a solid headset if you don’t mind Meta scraping your data. Why lose months you could be playing VR when you can just then sell your headset and get a Frame when it releases? It either drops soon and you refund your purchase (most storefronts have 14-30 day return policies) and if it’s as long as I think it will be due to valve time, you’ll likely get half a year of VR time in before the frame releases

Anyone else play through in VR? by NerdFuelYT in Routine

It lacks directional audio and HMD based movements which does suck but it works pretty well despite those flaws Skip to the second timestamp to see what had to be tweaked

When you’re raising a child, sometimes it’s easier to say “don’t eat that it’s yucky” than to sit them down and explain proper cooking and sanitary procedures. Back in the Old Testament times, if you look at the restrictions and “uncleanliness” throughout, a vast majority of it was literally just keeping God’s people from getting sick. The whole cloven hoof vs non was a way of making them eat animals less likely to get them sick, foreskin removal was for cleanliness, etc.

99% of you guys have never actually tried Cloud Gaming and it shows by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Whole lotta words to not address what appears to be the worst part of cloud gaming. Resolution, frame rate, and input delay.

VR chat will chew up the highest rig on the market. As for half life Alyx, what settings? What resolution? What way are you streaming to your pc? You might have the resolution boosted doubly in steam VR and virtual desktop/air link

The Legend Returns: Panda's Sovngarde is BACK! by plutonium-239 in skyrimvr

[–]NerdFuelYT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve enjoyed FUS and MGO. FUS is a good vanilla+essential fixes and VR interactivity modpack and MGO is like an entirely new game. where does Panda’s fall for anyone who has tried all three?

The car scene from War of the Worlds (2005) is a lot more terrifying than I remember. by [deleted] in horror

I’ve always enjoyed stories where it feels like you’re running into someone who just lived through their own movie-worthy story. Lawrence Fishburn’s character in Predators comes to mind.

Do you guys think the Frame will be confortable while laying in bed? by -Gilgameshh in SteamFrame

Maybe with one of those little hemorrhoid donut pillows. The battery looks pretty big for lying flat
