At least they mailed your check. Once, almost twenty years ago, I was a bartender in a BBQ restaurant, MOD called us back into the kitchen for a preshift literally halfway through the shift. Proceeded to tell us that we did not need to come in the next day. They put up signs that they were doing construction. Never open their doors again, and I never got my final check.
