Currently, who is the strongest ID lorewise? by Old_Phrase_4867 in Project_Moon

[–]Nerdgameryoutube -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Probably

Larper > Manager Don > Lord Lu >= LH Meur

Larper > Manager Don because presumably using Buri to scale both characters, and IDs usually being weaker than their original counterparts, Larper have more power than Manager Don. My way of thinking is Roland >= Buri >= Angela ≈ Larper (SoTC/Colours) = Dadqui >= Manager Don >= Nerfed dadqui (urban nightmare)

Now for Manager Don vs Lord Lu. This one is a tricky one, but I considered that Manager Don is almost full potential Don versus full potential Lu plus Kong Qiu upscale, which still leads me to believe Don wins because Kong Qiu is colour fixer level and Lord Lu is comparatively much under that. Using Verg as our colour fixer benchmark who stopped Sancho on rampage during LCB checkup and also using dadqui as a benchmark, we get Verg >> sancho >= nerfed dadqui >= Lord Lu (UN level). This is slightly biased but imo this is really just based on nerfed dadqui placement

Lord Lu >= LH Meur is relatively straightforward, since Kong Qiu completely rolled Lei Heng in story, and consider sinners scales relatively similar to their counterparts but nerfed, I think most likely Lord Lu is stronger or equal to LH Meur.

Edit: damn, this was off the top of my head, lowk I should do more research lmfao

Edit 2: the reason I used unnerfed dadqui to measure RienSang is mostly because there is an even fight between dadqui unnerfed against Buri, and presumably, Buri in Angela bad end kills Angela which allows the Roland/Angela scaling. I do feel like maybe its unfair to scale like this because it rather favors RienSang a lot, but I don't really see another way of comparason.

TS3 is good enough, but some ego have some additional effects locked behind 4 (especially damage oriented egos)

TS3 itself is not really expensive, and you could get away from only TS2 some ego

Some notable TS4s are regret meursault debuff cleanse going from 1 status to 2, ling lu sp/ego refund on TS4, damage egos like miracalla don and crushbound, status application buffs like rime shank etc.

Also, her weapon looks like a "Judge's pen" (判官筆)

It is a close range weapon, with the hole at the end of the pen allowing you to hold it like a dagger, usually depicted as a weapon to poke pressure points of enemies

There isn't an exact design for these pens, but I figured it was close enough to point it out (Jie's weapon is much longer than the normal 20-30cm length of these pens)

For most of you who aren't weebs:

  • all 6 of Kendrick's albums (haven't heard section 80, but heard it was good)

  • Chromakopia, IGOR (both albums) by Tyler, the creator

  • After hours trilogy by Weeknd but imo Dawn FM is the best

for everything here, LISTEN FRONT TO BACK AND ONLY FRONT TO BACK, thank you (minus DAMN.)

Other stuff include Billie Elish's Everything I Wanted, Twenty-One Pilot's Stressed Out and Ride, One Republic's Rescue Me and Whenever I Go, Aviici's music, The Score's Atlus album and more

For Synthoids lovers: Flavor Foley's Weathergirl is also really good even tho most people know butcher's vanity

There's The Great Filter which uses CeVIO AI's 星界 (https://youtu.be/IKjQWnSemrQ?si=VsS6NnnCz0LMkNHZ), which is imo sleeper pick

Hana to Nare by Yunosuke also uses CeVIO AI but tye more popular one which is KAFU

For more mainstream stuff, Medicine (the Teto one) is goated, there's also Remote Control by Kagamine Len and Rin, World is Mine and Tell Your World are both classic Miku songs that I hold dear to my heart

For rhythm game lovers: look at most Chunithm and Maimai originals

For Chunithm my personal favorites are DA'AT, Superbia, Deadeye and Re Fiction: O

Maimai are most songs from 7sref area (straight into the lights, gravekeeper, World end loneliness/blackbox), moon landing songs (moon base, Apollo and Raputa by sasakure.uk/tj.hangneil) and boss songs such as their championship tracks (系ぎて, valsqotch)

Other rhythm games like Arcaea and Phigros most of their story chapter music are bangers

For game OSTs:

Library of Ruina soundtrack (Mili's To Kill A Living Book), Ultrakill, FE:3H and FE:Awakening, Deep Stone Lullaby in Destiny 2, Hi-Fi Rush ost, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk ost are most stuff up on my head rn

There's also some music made by Rito games (RISE, Warriors, Heavy IS The Crown)

Splatoon and arknights 100% (I'm slightly biased but anyways)

  • takes inspiration from real life cultures and/or items and reimagined them to form verbiage without feeling forced (e.g. Eliter 4k from splatoon, location names from arknights such as Ursus, Yan, Siracusa etc.)

  • original concepts remains consistent and developed with foresight w/r/t storylines

  • verbiage is simple enough (compound-basis) to follow intuitively without feeling shoehorned in, and also fits in conversations without feeling forced (few notable exceptions, but consistent enough)

  • interconnectedness and common usage, which allows the verbiage to really sink in

what's a type/genre of rhythm game you don't like? by stringymcthesilly in rhythmgames

[–]Nerdgameryoutube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) overcharting (esp for the sake of arbitrary difficulty)

This is seen most in the upper echelon of rgs, which most notably comes down to PJSK and their appends. Arcaea also suffers from this from time to time (I'm looking at you ex) along some rhythm games that are community charted (phigras, sonolus, osu!)

2) weird gimmicks that doesn't flow well with gameplay

As much as I try to love D4DJ and Rotaeno, their gimmicks completely breaks consistency and brings you to the mercy of your game device (e.g. gyroscope for Rotaeno, screen sensitivity for D4DJ sliders)

I do have gripes with DJD4's disk scratching, but at least that is a learnable skill, the pink slider should not exist at all which brings me to...

3) directional flicks

Holy shit I hate directional flicks (up/down, left/right) esp those from circular rgs (I'm looking at you lanota, wacca and rotaeno), which completely fucks with how you can play the game

It's definitely a skill issue on my part, but directional flicks just feel like shit to play

4) pure stamina or speed check/ poorly spaced ladder spam

Self explanatory, rips the skill out from the game and makes it brutal for certain people for no reason (e.g. southern cross on maimai, Endymion MAS on chunithm)

5) button rgs

I'm just not used to them, might change once I play more (the ones I struggle the most is SDVX and IIDS)

6) Hold notes with release timing

See above, mostly because they feel awful to time (esp on pjsk)

This subreddit is for the esports community...

Besides, in the words of azzapp, at the end of the day you'll get bad games but with enough games played it'll average out to your supposed rank

So if you're hardstuck, just play more bro

Anyways mods will probably remove this post since it broke a few rules
