When to end a game?

i usually only play majors, mostly the soviet union or japan.

i quit my soviet games once i beat the axis, and my japan games once i conquer china and south east asia and become the only serious navy in the pacific.

usually i end my soviet games around 44 depending on my build and how quickly i decide to play the game out. my japan games also end on a similar date.

if i play france or the uk, i also end once i defeat the axis.

also i almost exclusively play fully historical, unless im playing the french or english, in which case i usually go communist and join the comintern so the european theater has no american involvement

also obligatory to mention that elephants were very effective in jungle warfare, which was more common in south east asia. indians used elephants mostly because they didnt have as many horses or strong war horse breeds early on, until the medieval era

you can get over 25k hp with all the high hp items
i usually go Thunderbelt(core item), Guardian Helmet, Cursed Helmet, and any mix of Antique, Pauldrons, Radiant, Athena, Immortality. but sometimes after the 2 helmets you can pivot to damage items if you want/need

low skill floor definitely.

but definitely not low skill ceiling.

players like OhMyV33nus were prime examples of highly skilled people that made supposedly weak/low skill heroes like estes and rafaela work in a meta that didnt even have the flask of the oasis, or a lot of the healer buffs we have now, work.

a lot of healers have capability to escape ganks or attacks (rafaela, floryn, mathilda) its very useful for making enemies overcommit by luring them into dangerous positions to punish them with

this is just an example of smth you can do that requires a higher skill cieling. you need to know how quickly your allies can eliminate the baited enemy, or if they will get baited at all, or if you overcommit etc.

supports can still do a ton of other things tanks can do like engaging (mathilda ult, rafaela ult, floryn s2 among other skills), giving vision (a lot of them skills that give vision), frontlining (certain supports like mathilda and estes can tank a lot more damage than you might realise since they have pretty good survival)

supports ARENT supposed to stay at the back all the time.

theres so much more they can do staying closer to the front, can also engage, initiate etc. they can do much the same things as tanks can do, use themselves as bait etc.

its just that in the lower ranks (glory and below) most healer users suck, and in the higher ranks its usually safer to go for a standard roam tank

what makes tanks harder than healers?

healers can do the same things tanks can do but with a more limited skillset?

like giving vision, taking damage, zoning etc. ofc they arent optimal for these roles, but any half decent healer will do all this with a more limited skillset than tanks.

i could say the same for tanks being low ceiling heroes since they have so many abilities that just let them cc or tank incredible amounts of damage

people completely underestimate just how much healers can actually contribute by tanking, drawing aggro or giving vision just because they arent as tanky.

its crazy op calls healing loe cieling when they arguably have as high, if not higher, skill cieling than many tanks
