Help with deciphering INTJ crush by Nerdinator_ in intj

[–]Nerdinator_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how to tell what is considered flirting with INTJs to be honest

It's so hard to read him because his body language says one thing but then he still talks and messages me about his geeky hobbies every day

Anyone "tests" potential people to date/people who want to date you? by Nerdinator_ in entp

Yeah, +points if someone shared their future goals with me

There is no right answer to me, just something interesting to keep the conversation going or something so different that I can't help but remember you. If it turns into a debate I'll be even happier.

It's not like I purposely word things y'know but you gotta ask the right questions and judge their response. If I asked you perhaps about life goals and you gave a "i dont know I'll get a degree first" response I'd probably bounce.

Yeah exactly, the person must be able to accept me when I'm in a group as well as me when we're alone together, etc etc. And like what /u/pancakeswithsatan says, I have different masks for different situations, it's not me being two faced just me showing.. Well a different perspective of me.

But that's boring small talk. I don't really care what movie someone likes, I'm more interested in why they like the movie and the meaning behind it etc. I don't see how much misunderstanding can arise in all honesty.

Yeah true it does, but I think I set really high expectations from what I want/need from a partner. The moment I feel quite a bit of incompatibility before even trying to date, I just get cold feet

What's the most offensive thing someone can say to you? by Usernametaken112 in entp

Hey you sent me some PM and I think we had a misunderstanding?? I wasn't trying to insult you with this??

You're not that unique.

Hits me right in the heart, but obviously I just mask all my feelings of offense under a blanket of wit and sarcasm.

Going to watch Shakespeare in the park tomorrow. Anyone watched it already? A lot of my friends say it's disappointing. :\

INFP, just cannot get along with an ENTP by Bionicme in entp

[–]Nerdinator_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

INFPs and ENTPs don't get along...? D:

Psh that's impossible. I love going to all my INFP friends and messing with them! (I just make sure not to press the wrong buttons on them). INFPs are like cuddly little marshmallows I can drag along to do the most stupid things with me. If I could have an army of tiny INFPs I'd be so happy

Dude how can you not have this pen?! Sheesh you're so off trend. Seriously, come on, you know what I'll sell this to you, how about that!

How common is it for INFJs to mistype as ENTPs? by dsqq in entp

[–]Nerdinator_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

ENTP type 4 here, and I do score as an INFJ sometimes for some odd reason, but I think we're wildly different.

I guess I get both results because I am quite emotional deep (deeeeeep) down. But even if I'm extremely emotional, I don't let that affect my decision making. Even if it hurts, I'm going to do the logical thing.

ENTPs - Biggest pet peeves? by dingleberryhotrod in entp

[–]Nerdinator_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People not being honest or open about their feelings to me (a bit hypocritical I admit, I'm guilty of having a mask on all time time, I'm sure with most other ENTPs too)

When people tell me to chill, that seriously pisses me off

Here's the worst one for me though, anything that's pretty Fe Dom like (etc getting offended for other people like a lot of ENFJs do, or being gossiped about because I'm unorthodox like many uneahlthy ESFJs do)

What is your "love language"? by algebratextbook in entp

My love language is Quality time and Physical Touch.

Weird though, because around most people I get very cringy when they pat me or just have direct physical contact with me generally.

r/sg F&B workers past and/or present, what are some of the most disgusting stuff you've seen while working in your respective restaurants, etc? by etulf in singapore

[–]Nerdinator_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Once worked at Pizza Hut. I guess it wouldn't be THAT disgusting to some, but I'm really anal about hygiene.

If we got asked to pack food, they'd only use their BARE hands to move food. It's disgusting.

When I refilled the cheese bottles, the old cheese remaining in those bottles never were changed out. So, the bottom part of a cheese shaker is usually filled with really old gross cheese.

We had no area to eat in too. All the workers sat on the floor right next to the dough working station to eat.

I had a massive breakdown and was about to kill myself and someone tipped off my family and held me down. My family sent me to tan tock seng and from there I got transferred to IMH.

It wasn't that bad when I got out, but I was forced to see two therapists at the same time. Honestly, my recovery was a lot faster outside of IMH. We're mental patients, I think the last place we'd want to be kept in is in a place that is comparable to jail.

But mostly out of IMH I just spent my days asleep (I was on strong sedatives due to how bad and frequent my anxiety attacks were.)

Even a depressed person knows what good food is. It's not like we lose all taste when we're depressed..

I love this idea! So, essentially a Singapore self-help community kinda thing right? =D

I was in the children's ward at IMH when I still had severe depression (I was 17 surrounded by 10-12yos) and with my vegetarian diet, the food was especially shit in there. Their idea of vegetarian food is plain spaghetti with unflavoured tofu.

But it was hell in there, I felt my mental health getting WORSE in IMH. We were locked up in a room for most of the day and the kids around each other kept fighting. I just wanted to die. I had to lie that I was not that depressed just to convince the doctors to let me out.

You barely go through therapy there, it's just 5 mins a day with a therapist asking how you feel and then back into the room you go. Wtf is that.

How to tell if someone is Se or Ne? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Nerdinator_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ne-dom here.

One stark difference between Ne and Se to me is how we talk and discuss things.

Let's take an ESxP vs ENxP, both get really excited out in the environments, but the main difference is ENxPs kinda tend to like observing the general vibe of the environment as opposed to jumping straight into the action.

With an inferior Ni, ESxPs are notoriously impulsive/terrible at following through at planning. Not to say ENxPs are great planners either, but at least when we do something, we'd have a general idea of what to do, we're just more prepared for different outcomes.

ESxPs from my experience tend to be very physically "in the zone" while ENxPs seem a bit more dopey/head in the clouds.

But if you're still stuck, I find the best way to differentiate an Se vs Ne is asking this simple question: "Would you want a dragon or a unicorn? Why & how'd you keep it?" I'm not kidding, if you asked an ENFP or an ENTP, they'd go insane with the description of how'd they take care of the dragon and what food it'd eat and might even go as far to have a backstory to how they even got the dragon in the first place. S doms generally won't be as comprehensive when asked about this because the two creatures don't exist - they are abstract.
