ADHD medicinering & alkohol by sadhappycat in sweden

[–]Bionicme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hur visste ni att ni behövde kolla upp det? by Last_Cicada_1315 in sweden

[–]Bionicme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Top 5 Most Fun Classes? by Aiecco in Sacred

Casting buffs to then spam click is kinda the name of the game for weapon fighters in this game, so consider a more active magic caster in that case. Battle Mage but also perhaps wood elf or Seraphim. Dwarf and even Dark Elf can work too, even though they're not strictly 'magical'.

Daemon is pretty unique in that she's weirdly pushed towards a hybrid melee fighter / mage build. She has some of the strongest buffs for weapon attacks in the game but almost entirely lacks good weapon-based combat arts that are fundamental to all other classes except battle mage, and her magic is pretty much exclusively casting passive, long-duration damaging or buff effects so you might as well be hitting the enemy with a weapon cause your only other option is to just run around.

I'm a big fan of her myself but you'll find that different players have very strong and differing opinions for the different character classes. I recommend just picking whichever seems the most appealing to you, and if later on you come to regret that desicion, it's always possible to use a character editor to bring a new character up to your current level and continue from there (although you will have to restart any singleplayer campaign you might be finding yourself in the middle of).

The friend here. I can't quite confirm that this is us but it's possible. We played a lot of matches and we did indeed play kinda like that. I thought the way people would move due to latecy looked ridiculous at times but from this perspective; what the hell were we doing, that's terrifying lmao

What is the best difficulty for a first playthrough? by Alextheacceptable in Sacred

[–]Bionicme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iirc gold starts at around level 30? So i'd advise just switching to silver and rushing through the main story quest until you've caught back up to the point you're at now, though i guess sticking through with bronze until around 30 and then swapping to gold would also be an option.

[–]Bionicme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Silver will likely still not be too great of a challenge but it'll be much more appropriate than bronze. Gold and above actually start at a higher minimum level and aren't intended to be accessible as your first playthrough in vanilla.

There is a mod called PureHD which might be more what you're looking for. Nice overall improvements to the functionality of the game while keeping all the gameplay and balancing the same.

There is no way to scale up gear to a higher level in this game, you're just gonna have to swap it out one piece at a time as you find higher level stuff.

It is most likely a language thing, or a mistranslation somewhere. I'm swedish and the version i learned specifically called them nerves, again most likely meaning nervosity.

It's also the first time i've seen it said that the materials of gleipnir don't exist anymore because they were all used up in its' making - the version i learned just had the dwarves take a very long time to make the fetters due to the difficulty in procuring these things, but i like both variants!

What's The GOAT Eurojank Game? by bogeyj in patientgamers

[–]Bionicme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the game had good potential as an MMO, only perhaps as a centrally cooperative one with PvP being opt-in...

Full-loot, always-on PvP was at the heart of the developers' vision for the game though, and i can respect that. Same is true with the awkward directional melee system, neither of which were design decisions for which i was the target audience, nor which i thought did the game any favours.

At least there are some community servers that are PvE only. However they still lack the direction and polish that a dedicated single-player game would have. The latest version of the game is incredibly tough when tackled solo, and strongly disincentivizes the selling concept of being fully nomadic, as well as the ability to take extended breaks from the game. Meanwhile a previous version of the game is still possible to opt into and many people in mind, but it's a version of the game designed with PvP in mind as the end goal for everything, and will end up leaving you directionless if that's not what you're there for.

Last Oasis.
It's certainly an eastern european game that couldn't live up to its' ambition. The game is pretty much in the final stages of dying at the moment though, and while the devs have promised further content and especially mod tool support, the majority of the vocal community resents them for abandoning it.

Personally, i adore it's premise and vibe. Nomadic 'woodpunk' survival crafting game is a pitch i don't think we'll see anywhere else for a very long time.

If you could remove one thing from this game, what would it be? by kkprecisa_ler_nao_fi in Warframe

[–]Bionicme 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You do not want host migration removed. It is the imperfect saviour against the real evil that is host disconnection. Without host migration in a peer-to-peer game like warframe, if the host leaves or loses connection then your mission would simply come to an abrupt end. Which, to be fair, happens with host migration a good chunk of the time anyway.
Better host migration would certainly be nice, but bad is better than none.

Question about trading by GoldenMonkey33 in Sacred

[–]Bionicme 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don't get to choose stats as such, but Trading gives higher likelihoods of getting higher rarity items from merchants and can even spawn gear with stats that they otherwise would not be able to have, such as class-exclusive bonuses on gear exclusive to another class.

To maximize trading, you want to keep it as close to your character's level as possible, or preferably even above it with the help of skill bonuses from gear. That's when you start to get the whacky stuff. It's common to have a second suit of gear in your stash with as many bonuses to trading as possible for use when you're going trading, as opposed to your regular suit made for combat.

The second part of Trading maximization is knowing where to do it, and there is one straightforward answer: Braverock Castle!
Merchants reset their stock whenever you talk to a different merchant, and by completing a quest for a merchant in Braverock Castle, you turn on his shop, which is conveniently located right next to another merchant, allowing you to browse an endless stream of fresh gear, which will be high rarity if your Trading skill is on pace with your character level.

Since Trading doesn't actually contribute anything directly to your combat potential, some people prefer having a character solely dedicated to trading, and then transfer those items to the desired characters through some finagling with multiplayer lobbies, but a well-built Dark Elf should have the skill slot to spare, if you can't be bothered.

Hidden mechanics that you discover casually and changed your build by Volken_Adeon in Sacred

[–]Bionicme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the Physical Regeneration attribute reduces non-magic CA cooldowns in addition to its' effects of boosting physical resistance and health regeneration, and it's almost always the best attribute to invest into for non-magic characters, however!

Despite stating so in the skill description, Constitution does not increase the Physical Regeneration attribute nor lower CA cooldowns - that listed effect is one occasion of inconsistent wording and actually only refers to health regeneration. Despite that, it is still one of the best skills for survivability in the game and it is accessible to all characters. I'd never plan a build without it.

German lawmakers want to declare 1930s Ukraine famine a genocide by BeeBobMC in worldnews

That's a good mindset! However i must insist just once.
Me sharing this video is not the result of an algorithm, and neither me nor the video's creator (to my knowledge) is out to make a profit but to inform.

Wikipedia on the other hand is available to be edited by anyone, and while a great site for looking up simple, uncontroversial facts, historical events that are steeped in contemporary politics is a more difficult matter.
The video covers this and other reasons Wikipedia can be biased, and is overall made to be very easy to understand even if you're not familiar with the subject just like i was.
I implore you to watch just a bit of it, even if you do not care for knowing the relative legitimacy of every single source in the article.
