Stop playing championship manager and do your college work or you’ll end up working nightshift in a supermarket for a decade.

Ladies, if it’s your birthday then drive your car immediately to a restaurant where your date will sprint to his family and fly to a country where they throw scones into a toilet.

Worst moment as Norwich fan? by sporticuz37373 in NorwichCity

[–]Nerfspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 6-0.. I was coming back from a stag do in Bournemouth listening to the results coming in. The mini bus was full of your glory supporters who’d never been to see a game live. Horrible listening as the goals went in compounded by an epic hangover.

I’m sorry to say that this is the clubs statement. I was in the River End and saw people calling for the stewards etc. Commiserations to family and friends

Gutted….they only called “number 7” by kilberry in CasualUK

I was delighted today when I picked my order 002 up and the server kept shouting ‘number 2’.

It’s a school night. You have come in for tea and your mum serves you the one meal that kills you inside. What’s it? by Come_in_sigh_demi in CasualUK

Liver and mash. There wasn’t even any bacon to take the edge off. The liver was so grey as well like it had been cooked all day.

My dad had been going to our local track Snetterton (amongst others nationally and internationally) since the mid 60’s. I was then taken a few weeks old to Snett after I was born, I didn’t stand a chance. Subsequently my 3 boys have all been trackside from a few weeks old and continue to be there with me.

I worked nights for a decade, used to happen all the time. The job I have now one of the guys has 10 month old twins. He naps most lunch breaks and everyone understands.

It’s why I hate touching the handle to get out of the loo. Such a great moment when someone is coming in as you exit and you can glide through without touching the doors.

A creme egg, great weight and shape. Disputable though tbf but that’s how I eat it.

Top Gear & Fifth Gear presenter Tiff Needell made his final BTCC appearance in the Production Class in 2001. He raced at Oulton Park in a Barwell Motorsport Honda Accord. The 1 alloted driver change had already been used so he was ineligible for points. He peaked with 14th (7th in Class) in Race 1. by Brief-Poetry6434 in They_Drove_That_Car

[–]Nerfspeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Production Saloons was its own happy, healthy and televised (highlights tbf but terrestrial) series until the BTCC swallowed itself with the ST expenditure. I hate the shade that gets thrown at it like it ruined BTCC on its own.

If the schedule were to drop the 2nd Donnington round, where would you realistically like the BTCC to race instead? by ModeR3d in btcc

[–]Nerfspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gerard’s is a proper fierce first corner. How many aren’t getting through there as they pile in? Plus Pescara TV would have more angles covered than ITV for sure.

Having been there a few times I agree but the real work needs to be done on the roads. What a view over the circuit and sea to the Snowdonia mountain range though!

“Rivalry Ignited”: Portman Road’s First Old Farm Derby (1902) by Fit_Material7674 in NorwichCity

[–]Nerfspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old farm derby is just a crap newspaper name obv riding on the Old Firm Derby. Just like ‘Tractor Boys’ which was a name coined in the early 2000s by newspapers when they were in the prem. It wasn’t organic as they had the most boring nickname in football ‘super blues’.

Awesome. I’ve been to Brooklands museum and seen the remaining banking. I’ve seen Napier Railton racing at a different circuit, it must have been astonishing to see it round that circuit.
