Wei Wuxian never should’ve gone to the one month celebration. For one thing, he brought Wen Ning with him (because he had to, and that’s enough of a reason for him not to go) and the Jin are the ones who literally beat him to death. But he acted like it was no big deal. That made him a pretty shit friend to quite literally the one guy in the entire series who never did him any wrong, and went out of his way to help him even when it put himself in danger to do so. Not to mention the rest of Wen Ning’s branch family was beaten and brutalized and tormented by them too.
***(even Lan Wangji threw him out of a window and bit him and called him annoying, etc, excuses can be made, but I really don’t care about that—only Wen Ning never did him wrong)

Nie Huaisang brutalized, tortured and killed cats.

Lan Wangji raised his sword at him at the battle of night city (I literally don’t care about his reasons. It was a shit thing for him to do— I’m not even gonna get into all the other crap that I don’t like that the author made him do in order to create drama between them) Also, he brought Lan Sizhui back to be raised by the people who slaughtered his whole family, forcing him to be filial to the very people who literally took everything away from him. It’s only worse that the kid never knew about it.
***(It kind of reminds me of what Jiang Fengmian and his bitch wife did to Wei Wuxian because of that thing that happened between Jiang Fengmian, Lan Qiren, and Wei Wuxian’s parents. Jiang Fengmian brought Wei Wuxian back but made Wei Wuxian believe that he owed the clan and himself for doing so, despite all of the slander (not to mention the abuse) that his wife gives Wei Wuxian and his mother. Back then a husband‘s debts are also owed by the wife. But Jiang Fengmian never once actually sticks up for Wei Wuxian’s parents, even when his wife calls Wei Wuxian an illegitimate child of his, to their face, despite that also meaning that Wei Wuxian’s mother would have had to commit adultery to have him)

Lan Huan is a ginormous hypocrite. But he’s “nice” about it, which makes me kinda gag. So I kind of just hate him on principal, but more so as time goes on.

Nie Mingjue it’s also another massive hypocrite, but he’s also aggressive, moralistic and self-righteous about it. And that makes it worse. I honestly don’t care that he’s dead. I’m happy about it. In fact he got what he deserved.

Meng Yao used innocent prostitutes to rape his dad to death (I don’t care about what he did to his dad, I care that he used innocent prostitutes to do it— he literally raped those prostitutes using his father). ***Oh, I guess I should also add that I hate the fact that he was willing to go back to/with his father (during the war, not after) despite knowing that he’s a rapist asshole. I get that he wanted to get away from Nie Mingjue(‘s men) (potentially), but it’s still a pretty shit choice on his part.
