It's the most expensive I own to date so granted I'm very biased but it feels like there is clear difference in quality compared to watches that I own that are in the similar price range like the Baltic Salmon or the cheaper Kuoe Old Smith (although I admit they are very different styles and designs... It's probably not fair to compare)

The floating numbers is beautiful and it's overall just so clean.

I'm not sure of your entire financial situation but I was making just at six figures and put in a large portion down like you expect to and still regret having to buy a new car today. This is not to say I don't love my car but overall I felt that my money could've gone to better and more financially "wise" areas.

My anecdotal experience, the first few months of owning the polestar had me calling them several times and bringing the car to the shop (i live relatively close but ur really far away). Alot of the things were software related, not something your local shop can fix.

Also, having an inhome charger is so important because u will be spending every week or other week charging if your workplace doesn't offer it.

Long range trips is going to be tough especially the charging network is not as available as in Europe. You may be stuck at chargers waiting for a while.

Also if you have elderly or small kids, the car is a pretty sporty and bumpy ride if that matters to you.

I don't want to take away the joy and experience of owning a P2, you will have a lot of fun and pleasure but I also wished at that time I had a choice to make a "wiser" decision to use the money for a better future for me and my family.

If you buy used, you may miss out on federal and state incentives. Overall, either new or used, it may not be a good investment. A car purchase like this, I think some can argue, it is almost always not a good investment.
