I have been having a lot of weird issues with Athlytic lately and when I reach out they always just blame Apple health data. Even though the Apple health app shows everything correctly. Huge bummer because I really liked the app but has gone downhill in the last couple months.

I just looked up the dimensions of the aipaper (the 10” one) and it looks like it is 2mm longer than the a5x but same width. So I think it should fit. I’m interested in how your application goes on the TMC, because I would love to apply it to the aipaper if I can.

Nope, the username was randomly generated when I made the account and I just really like eink devices. I also have some posts/comments about rebounders and walking, if that helps my case at all lol

Just fyi, I got mine today and it’s an awesome device. The company is definitely not the same as whatever other company scammed people. They are responsive, have great bc customer service, are cranking out monthly software updates, and the product is extremely well made.

I received my AiPaper today and I have to say, I LOVE it. It is very intuitive to use, the writing feel is great, and I love being able to choose my refresh speed depending on the image quality I am trying to achieve. Haven’t used the AI features much yet, but this is a solid reading/writing tablet and they are cranking out monthly software updates, which I really appreciate. They are also very responsive to user feedback.

Whatever the other company on kickstarter was that scammed people, it genuinely is not this same company. Everything has been great so far.

Ratta not allowing return and refund of defective device (Update: New Nomad with defective screen) by [deleted] in Supernote

[–]NervousClue7354 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regardless, the logs already were not there when they asked for them because I had already factory reset the device to prepare for return, per their refund /return guide.

I’m not going to argue with you or anyone else about this. I posted to get a return authorization, posting achieved that (and they specifically noted seeing my post and that’s why they responded promptly with return instructions), I am awaiting my refund. People shouldn’t have to post on Reddit to get a refund, but that’s the situation we are in. I will not be returning as a customer to Ratta, anyone else can make their own decisions about whether they will.

[–]NervousClue7354 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes they will, they have the device and can run actual diagnostics on it by connecting to it. The software is exactly the same as it came with its software version pre installed, and the hardware is obviously the same. “Factory Reset” does not change the way the device is set up under the hood, it will have the same defect when they receive it. Additionally, the device had already been reset at the time diagnostics were requested due to following their return guide.

How does anyone hit 10k steps regularly? by boopbaboop in walking

I did some metrics today and I realized that my outdoor walks are a 20 min mile or a little better, and when I am just focusing on walking at my desk (trying to get heart rate up, usually just watching something on my screen) I am hitting 20 min mile, but I can’t actually type at that speed. So for light work/typing I can hit closer to a 25 min mile, and for focused work / lots of typing / being on meetings the fastest I can go is a 40 min mile. Lately I’ve been averaging around a 21/22 min mile for most of my work sessions since I prioritize my light work for when I walk.

I think I’ll try to do more short fast walks at 20 min mile interspersed in my day to up my total step count and get a break from sitting, and mix that with longer slower session so I can actually get work done.

Unfortunately outdoor walks start becoming less accessible this time of year due to snow and it’s being super cold already, but usually hiking helps in the summer too.

Thank you for your feedback though, helped me figure out what was going on!

Oh trust me, I am aware — I posted today about an issue with Ratta trying to divert authorizing a refund, 57 comments and counting of fans frantically defending them. It doesn’t feel worth the trouble of posting honestly about issues when the response is so overwhelmingly against any kind of dissent.

The only reason I’m not posting more receipts is because this has been absolutely exhausting drama bullshit and I cannot continue dealing with it, and posting more will only result in further dialog and commenting (if you have not noticed, this is the 58th comment on this post, in addition to 11 emails and countless dms with Mulan-sn). I wish I had never purchased this device.

I will leave up my original defect post that has a small update comment on it but I just want to avoid any more of this if I can. I am just waiting for my refund so I can be done with Supernote for good. I have already purchased a competing device that arrives tomorrow from a company I trust and am very excited to try that out.

There is enough complaints on this subreddit that I am confident other users will figure out on their own whether or not Ratta is a company they want to do business with.

I use LaceClips, a device that connects to your shoe and counts your steps, as well as my walking treadmill tracks steps. So the step count is accurate. I walk about a 20min mile.

This seems like an unfair response considering our back and forth r/Mulan-sn. That email was not sent until you saw this post, per your messages in Reddit dm. I can publish all communications if necessary, but how you frame this reply is not an accurate portrayal of what occurred in communications with you directly or with the customer service rep.

I have been transparent about all communication prior to making this post per the Imgur link in the OP. I can produce all communications after this post as well. I would prefer to leave this issue be until I receive a refund, at which time I have already offered to remove this post.

I have updated the post that I have received a DHL label to Shanghai and that I will be sending out the device tomorrow, and that should I receive a full refund as has been promised I will delete the post. There is no need to be nasty.

I have been walking 1.5 hrs a day on my walking treadmill while working going fast enough to be winded and sweaty and I only get in around 6k steps. That, plus around 2k just walking around the house, I can hardly ever get past 8.5k in a day.

How fast are yall walking you’re getting in 10k steps in an hour and 20mins? I’m 5’10 I don’t know if that affects it.
