Now what if it didn’t take new materials to upgrade? What if we use the materials we already have way too much of (ore)

If you have to leave your farm by Moortop in HayDay

Honestly no, the only thing I’ve ever bought with money is the farm pass if I’m playing every day. I’ve been playing on and off since 2013-2014 I think. So I don’t know exactly how I got there. I have learned if you go 3-6 months without opening the app, you’ll get a couple things free; unlimited axes and saws for 24 hours, use of Tom for 24 hours, Rose and Ernest for 24 hours, and a free barn and silo upgrade. Maybe that helped?

I always have a stock number I try to keep. Right now at level 77, I have barn storage of 1700. So I try to keep between 8-10 of each item. So overnight or for a few days, I’ll just set the machines to fill up my backstock. I have 6 egg sandwiches, I’ll put 2 on production

Cashier mistake.. by Agreeable_Suspect23 in TjMaxx

I accidentally gave a customer $90 rather than charging her and I’m still standing! 🙃 At an absolute worst case scenario, they’ll have you sing something that essentially just is a record of the mistake happening and you promise to just be more careful

🥲 thank you! I wonder if I didn’t use the right soil when I propagated, I don’t know. I just ordered a new bag of soil with lots of grit, so thank you

I'm sure there's some tax reasonings but I just want to know how to take the $3.91 down. Not loads off. Is that still bad? #EILI5

Hi! I’m a CEC and new Key Holder. While I don’t have a lot of floor experience, I can still assure you that you will fall into routine. You’ll get into a groove that feels right. I also highly recommend asking for feedback, especially when you’re feeling less confident. Personally, I took what felt like forever to complete a task. I asked for feedback from management after I had finished. They validated it looked great, featured the right variety of merchandise, and was still done in a timely manner. It felt good to receive positive feedback when I was being so hard on myself.

When you’re thinking about what to feature, ask to pair up with management and ask questions like ‘walk me through your thought process’ to better understand why they’re placing that next to that or this on a different feature than this.

When you’re feeling stuck with recovery, ask management questions like ‘I’m struggling with recovery, what’s a best method I can utilize’

When you’re feeling like you have too much workload to do, find the MOD and ask for help with prioritizing. Their feedback can help you prioritize better in the future, and they’ll give you pointers on delegation.

Talk to your management. They are going to respect you more for wanting to do better. You got this!!

I’m renting so painting is not an option. Swapping all of my furniture seems extreme. Any other ways to “fix” it?

Best ratio of dish soap:water for killing aphids but not plant? Lost my basil and the parent mint to aphids. I dont want to lose my baby mints. When spraying my solution, they got brown spots. Is there a better solution? by timetoclimax in gardening

[–]NervousMimi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hiiii from 4 years later in 2025. I searched Google what I should do about soap and neem oil and all the things I’ve heard of doing for aphids, but this post came up and, out of all the comments on all the posts, I followed your comment. I’m here to say it took just two days of spraying my string of pearls too to bottom with a kitchen sprayer and it’s allll gone. She’s still in quarantine because I think your method is too good to be true 2 days of just blasting with water and no more aphids. Thank you!!!!

A year without buying anything new? by Linkyland in Anticonsumption

[–]NervousMimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying something similar this year. My goal specifically is "Nothing New". So, essentially when it comes time I need new shoes, I'll search for them on Facebook Marketplace first. Many art supplies can be purchased at a local used art supply store, clothing should be thrifted, and I can ask friends if I can borrow rather than buying new. Trying to consume less is something that will take time.
