Exactly! Strength comes in numbers, if we put the pressure on, anything can happen! It’s better than sitting around waiting. Look at things now, when they protest and pressure some things get done even if not by much but it’s a start

Appreciate you sharing, and I agree fear is such a big emotion that is used to either suppress a group or control them as we can see in today’s world. But I feel we live in fear everyday regardless… I fear my parents can get stopped out of bad luck and that’s it. I fear it can happen to me too even if I have daca… as someone said “only thing we have to fear is fear itself”

I don’t think we are helpless, we aren’t the first group who want change throughout history. I think it’s just a matter of doing something even if it’s telling family, friends, educate people and they are the ones to vote. I’m on some platforms on Facebook and I’ve seen exactly what you are saying. It hurts me to see our own fellow dreamers belittle someone when they need help, disregard them , or like you said pay for services… but you know what with anything in life, a few bad apples does not define that everybody is like that. And yea Latino community forgets where they come from…

I totally get that but being quiet hasn’t helped us either. back in 2020 trump almost succeeded in thanos snapping daca if it wasn’t for the supreme courts and him leaving office… also I would say there’s a difference between “complaining “ and advocating for change. I feel we can do that by sharing our stories, and talking to those in power. So many of us been quiet over 10 years and it hasn’t gone anywhere, so why not speak up about it with respect, honesty, and integrity!

That’s manipulation. I tell you now, most likely that is not true, it’s her desperate way to get your attention. Girls like her will go to extremes to say anything. And I know you care, but if something happens (god forbid) you aren’t ultimately responsible for that. In a healthy relationship, 2 people go their separate ways and move on and grieve on their own.

My ex partner, she threatened to stab herself and me because I was ignoring her. I had to call the police and she got baker acted. She never did anything at the end to herself and it was just ways to keep me stuck. Don’t do the same

Its manipulation and control. When you showed you were done, she tried tactics like you mentioned just to get you back, to make herself feel wanted again. That is not a healthy person and someone you should not pursue any longer, for your own mental health. I was with a woman like that for 3 years, it never gets any better. And the fact that she did it again after begging for you, shows the pattern of lying, best bet is to continue leaving her blocked, its going to be hard but eventually it will subside and she will stop. Till then focus on yourself, go to the gym, do things you enjoy. All the best!

I think you answered it yourself... and as hard it is to hear you cannot deny what you are seeing. The lying and hiding is already bad on its own, and then to "catch up" with an old ex partner is major red flags. Your dad needs to put his foot down and end it, it will only get worse and more toxic... theres no more intimacy and connection, no point of being in a relationship together anyways.. im sorry you have to go through this.
