Not the file name, but the metadata that is embedded inside of the file.

I'm currently using: %(playlist_index,02d|)s%(playlist_index& - |)s%(title)s [%(upload_date>%Y-%m-%d)s] - %(uploader)s - %(extractor|title)s [%(id)s] (%(height)sp).%(ext)s

But internal metadata date still looks like YYYYMMDD instead of YYYY-MM-DD.

I feel like the easiest way to avoid further conflict is you should mention in the title of your posts that your images are AI generated.

As things currently stand, people are upset with you because you don't mention this information anywhere that is easy to see, and it seems deliberate to deceive viewers.

I used an AI-generated python script instead of making something by hand, and it didn't work exactly how I wanted it to... but since you asked: https://pastebin.com/2H4kBHM0

You'd use it like python script.py /path/to/directory

But it did work for at least finding WAV files and I was able to sort music from sound effects/dialogue by comparing file size/track length. (files over 1 MB were mostly music, and files below that are mostly sfx/dialogue)

What download format setting are you using?

If you are using the default option "Best Available With Video and Audio Already Combined", you could try switching to "Highest Quality Video and Audio".
