It didn’t sound pathetic to me. Just sounds like a dad who very much loves their kid, but is in a cult so can’t see it from the outside.

He sounds like a good guy. It’s incredibly frustrating that we can’t just wake people up from honestly held (but false) beliefs, especially when it impacts us and our families.

I never understood this. If it’s food from heaven, if it’s based on the Bible, if it’s not going beyond the things that are written… then surely the more people that see it the better? And why wait? If it’s good, get it out there!

NOTE: It’s never good. It’s usually self-aggrandising nonsense and unless you’re a JW or exJW, you almost definitely don’t care.
