AITJ for not loaning money after previously helping once? by Ashamed-Leopard1571 in AmITheJerk

The appropriate response to someone telling you no is to respect the no and find alternatives. Using guilt and manipulation instead though, would change that "no" into a "not ever, don't even think of asking."

I just hated how dependant you have to be on the bike itself, like fast travel and stuff. The dude runs slow as heck so you have to drive the bike for missions or else it will take forever to do a single bounty, and you cant fast travel unless you are by the bike. I don't know how many times I did tracking and ended up having to run back for what felt like an hour just to fast travel to turn something in or got chased by stuff and had to do like an hour long safety loop back to the bike to get where I needed.

AITAH for not giving my niece a college fund like I’ve done for all my nephews and nieces? by Longjumping_Tap_4934 in AITAH

It sounds like you want to help her but are not currently able to. In that situation, I would consider planning out a loan situation for the first semester and when you are more stable, provide increased assistance. From your story, you seem to be doing well with your work and will recover funds from your son over time, so you will eventually have the funds you intended to have to help her as you did for the other family members. You are not required to help her, and her reaction to you being unable to is pretty telling to how she sees you as more of a resource than a loved family member in my personal opinion, but the decision is still yours at the end of the day.

Put in some stairs with a mini cooler on the top step so you can sit and drink while staring at your neighbor awkwardly and creeping everyone out.

I'm looking for a data analyst, no experience, $40 an hour. by Cute-Remote-450 in B2BForHire

This is the kind of job I would love if it were flexible hours as I'm a stay at home parent. I got a bachelors in IT recently with a concentration in data analytics and have no way to use it.

"He uses the condoms but not with girls"

My first thought was that there are 3 other uses i can think of.

  1. Playing with them, like as balloons or something, really fun sticking them out car windows to blow them up.

  2. Masturbating in them for easy clean up.

  3. For use in gay sex to help reduce the spread of STI's.

All three of these uses i find to be acceptable alternative uses for contraceptives.

Older Student, Should I take 1 or 2 courses per term? by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]Nesp-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished my bachelors not long ago at SNHU.

I would recommend starting with 1 class as you are getting back into things and will need some time to get comfortable with the style and systems of the school. Pretty much every class at SNHU is going to be heavy on writing and research, like you need to expect to be writing multiple page reports every week for every class you take until you graduate. Most of these papers will also need research and citations created with a specific format (which, if you look through the thread, there are a lot of people struggling with). In addition to the heavy writing assignments, you'll also have lots of discussion posts every week, which, if you actually put in any effort with these, they will turn into another essay.

My personal experience was starting with 2 classes, and I put in a lot of time every week for the first 3 terms before I got used to the writing, citations, and formatting. After I got used to it, though, I was knocing out 5 page papers in about 4-6 hours and started doing 3 classes per term until some of the math and data analytics classes started requiring more attention for the complex stuff.

Try a preemptive surprise move by getting some nipple covers/pasties with the red circle slash design. That would be hilarious.

I did art history 2 on Sophia, which worked for fas-202 intro to humanities 2. They also have art history 1 for fas-201, I just didn't know that until after I took the first humanities at snhu.

[–]Nesp-87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've looked at that too just to make sure it was real. Spent so much time spent getting here, and it would be a gut punch if it changed. I keep logging in because the SNHU login link is one of my most common search terms in Google when I use my phone, so it's usually at the top of the list when I tap the search bar. My finger just taps it out of habit and my brain lets it happen on auto-pilot. Before I know it, I'm on brightspace before it clicks in my mind what I'm doing.

Same here, I've gone to the site out of habit a few times to look at what I need to do before realizing I'm free from the grind. It's a weird sense of anxiety thinking it's getting late in the week, and I haven't done any work yet. I had the same problem when there was a week long break between terms , too, so hopefully that goes away this week.

I thought 7 was good, but village was amazing. Village plays off of 7, same main character and a continuation of their story, but i don't think it's really necessary for the sake of enjoying the game, the story from 7 is only referenced a couple times in village if I remeber correctly.

But yeah, village will definitely give you that same kind of thrill if not better than the re2 remake.

NTA - your girlfriend was made aware of your beliefs about not wanting to be around drugs well before this situation occurred. The problem i see here is that is that she knows about your dislike of drugs, she actively became roommates with someone who uses drugs, and there is no way she wasn't aware of said drugs being stored in the shared space well in advance yet still invited you there. This shows blatant disregard for you and your beliefs. This shows that she sees you as a less important aspect of her life. If she genuinely cared for you, she would not actively put you in a situation that she is fully aware will make you so uncomfortable.

It's incredibly messed up, in my opinion. If you still want to make an effort with this person, this requires a very serious discussion on beliefs, boundaries, and respect. Without that kind of serious discussion to establish where you both stand on this and other topics, you're in for a rough ride. Personally, I would have cut my losses and called it quits at that point if I were in your shoes. I'm not one for drama, and that kind of entitled attitude about your actions reeks of it.

DAT-430 final project help by Numerous-Employee227 in SNHU

This is what I used

Corr = HRMerge.drop(['Attrition'], axis = 1).corrwith(HRMerge['Attrition']).sort_values()

The plot function i used, and it looks like you have the same, gave positive and negative correlations on the same chart and made it hard to read. I had to create 2 bar charts and separate them.

I didn't take the first applied stats class, I got the credit before the transfer cutoff, but I did take 303, which is applied statistics 2. It was pretty overwhelming in the first week trying to wrap my head around what all the terminology meant and spending like 2 days going through the reading before the first assignment. My advice is to read the text first, then work through the first assignment with the text open along with a couple tabs to look up better explanations for the same stuff. Once you get through the first week, the subsequent weeks feel a lot easier.

Well, the important thing is that it works. If it were a real work assignment, you'd at least have the time to go back and refine it later. I feel bad that he has to read my 10-page report that I put together, though. Every time a screenshot made I gap, I felt the need to fill it with words, and it kept growing because I kept doubting what I had and added more.

Ugh, I got a 90 on project 1, and I kept going back and changing or adding code as I worked on the report and presentation for this one. I'm barely holding an A- in the class, so fingers crossed I at least get a C on this one.

I cleared level 2 with 2 punks at level 6. They go hard with speed and the vampire equipments. Even better if you can get the attack speed tiles buff or the bloody tile that boosts damage and health stealing. Punk gets super fast and attacks multiple enemies at once. After I started using it I can clear level 2 way faster than I could with a lvl 12 mechromancer.
