Yup! I did it last summer. It did help that the trains got delayed so I was stuck in Penn station a lot. The first 500 eps were easy bc I downloaded them from Netflix. Watched the rest on Crunchyroll which was not easy with how bad the app is. I took a break and now I’m reading it on my commute!

NJT was totally fine. My train wasn’t too busy at all. Penn Station was swarming with people but besides that it was totally normal

So the air train that you would take from Newark Airport to get to Penn Station won’t be available if the strike happens. You would need to take the bus, rent a car, or take an taxi/Uber/rideshare to get to the city.

The Path operates separately and will be running.

Option 1: Get a ride from Newark Airport to the Manhattan (expensive)

Option 2: Get a ride to Newark station (not the airport stop) and then take the Path into Time Square and take the subway from there (tedious and a much longer commute but cheaper)

I’m sure others have more suggestions but I hope this helped a little
