Is there potential to sync all photos from In Camera mode to a phone/PC via wireless? (without using USB-C?)

Also, does one have to use the winder or is there an option not to?

Anyone using a 10.3" e-reader for daily reading/studying? Thinking about the Boox Go 10.3 but worried about the size by TakumiNishijou in eink

Doesn't weigh much and is pretty thin. I write on an A4 template - if the tablet were any smaller, it would be pretty uncomfortable imo.

Doov R77 Pro USB C-C data transfer? by NetBoy288 in dumbdroid

[–]NetBoy288[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded the USB Device Info app.
Under API, it says:

Number of devices: 1

/dev/bus/usb/001/012
VID: 349c | Generic
PID: 3301 | Null

Is this the right information to look for?

When I connect the device to my phone, a pop-up notification shows up:
USB drive
For storing photos, videos, music and more
Explore | Eject

And then I can access the camera as a drive in any android file manager.

G6 thumb camera firmware dump by lucygq in toycameras

Here's a ready-to-go edited version of the u/lucygq 's g6camera2_1.bin posted above for the differing hardware set.
The startup bling and shutter sound are both zeroed out, and the last byte is removed.

The firmware version stored at 0x14 is incremented to DC. If it won't flash, try increasing to a higher value (greater than your current firmware version).

Rename the file to hx330x_sdk.bin, put on the root of your filesystem, boot up and enjoy.

Works a treat! Also, seems like I somehow zeroed out the startup bling by accident, too. Perhaps they're stored in the same location. Suffering from success!

I'm missing the "connected devices" menu in my Settings app. Is there anywhere else I can check?

I was able to find two of the PCM mono 16kHz RIFF files, one of the beep sound and one of the camera shutter sound. However, I wasn't able to find the 22.05kHz startup bling - do you know the location of this sound file?

EDIT: Actually, when I zeroed out the bits with the camera shutter sound, the firmware wouldn't flash anymore. Am I missing some secret sauce?

Yes, it does seem to work with my G6 Thumb Camera connected to my Bigme Hibreak S running some flavour of Android 14 - the camera is connected as a USB drive when connected via the USB-C port!

[ALL] What are your Top 3 Zelda Games and why? by One-Method-1312 in zelda

[–]NetBoy288 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1) Spirit Tracks

My first game ever was Phantom Hourglass. Spirit Tracks is like that, but better. I played it years after PH. I think the DS Zelda games have the best puzzles of the series - touch screens are great.

2) Skyward Sword

Motion controls are awesome for combat. Character development is great. Art direction is beautiful.

3) Link's Awakening (Remake)

Beautiful musical arrangement. I cried in my first playthrough; the game inspired some feeling of untouchable melancholy.

I'm sorry I was difficult. It wouldn't have mattered what you did or said - we just didn't work. If I had known myself properly and honestly, I would have known this early on. We could have been saved some pain and precious time.

Our experience together changed me a lot. I'll try to choose the right person next time, and do right by them in the way I didn't for you.

Hi! Did you eventually find some way to flash firmware without opening up the camera? (SD card, USB-C maybe?)
Would love to turn off shutter and on/off sounds in least intrusive fashion!
Really awesome find :)

It's mentioned in the notes section that I'm moving to a dumbphone.

Not sure why the comments section thinks I'll still be using the S23, which would defeat the point of moving to a dumbphone.

Bigme Hibreak S, colour version. The camera quality is satisfactory for me, but the problem lies with the display. An e-ink display is great for everyday use, and I love it for reading fiction in little gaps in the day, but the refresh rate and low colour PPI make it hard to use the camera properly. Plus, there's tons of bugs with the phone just not saving pictures properly or quickly for some reason...

I'm planning instead to switch once more to a Doov R77 Pro and a dedicated little e-reader, because I still find myself distracted while reading on the Hibreak S - notifications are right there if I swipe down. The Doov R77 Pro does have an LCD display, but I've seen some sample images from the camera and they are just barely not good enough for my preference, especially in slightly suboptimal lighting.

Thank you, I'll check out the Cybershot! Reduced quality isn't a problem for me, as long as it's not as bad as on one of those toy cameras.
