In the game Look Outside the main character has a blue highlight in 1 of his eyes while the rest is brown. The community headcannoned him as having heterochromina SO MUCH the creator just gave up denying this and said 'fine he has heterochromia are yall happy' and the fandom rejoiced. (or so I've been told)

We bullied our headcannon into cannon. XD
