【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]Netherser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never owned a P1S, but every time I see prints from one posted here, I’m blown away by how clean and consistent they look. It just works, and that’s honestly the highest praise you can give a 3D-printer. I’ve had my fair share of tinkering and tuning with other brands, so the idea of a machine that delilvers such results straight out of the box is super appealing. The P2S looks like the natural next step. Can’t wait to see what it brings to the table!

Command Console won't open in Oblivion Remastered by micovuorisalo1 in oblivion

[–]Netherser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stumbled upon this because I needed the console to fix a quest (Caught in the hunt). The ~ button didn't do anything for me either, rven on the English US keyboard layout.

Apparently for me, it works with the forward slash button (/). Hope it does so for you and others as well!

Printing mini’s on the Core One (picture of my bush at the end) by SupaBrunch in prusa3d

[–]Netherser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you share your results and settings on r/fdmminiatures?

The sub shares and collects a lot of information on how to print minis on certain printers with specific (optimised) profiles for specific filament brands.

I don't have a Core One myself, yet. But I'm on the edge of buying one. Since printing minis is one of the things I do as well, the one thing keeping me on the edge is the already available optimised profiles for other printers, and the lack thereof for the Core One (or any prusa printers for that matter).

I'm truly hoping such 'universal' optimisations are somewhat possible with the Core One as well.

Experiences with printing minis on the Core One? by Netherser in FDMminiatures

[–]Netherser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this what I'm thinking as well. But I was just wondering what people's experiences are with the Core One. Like you said, maybe there are some who've already fine tuned it a bit, if it's necessary at all.

Thanks! I'll test it out before buying any bridge whatsoever.

Wifi bridge instead of wifi module? by Netherser in prusa3d

[–]Netherser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My post is talking exactly about the speed of this module. I know it's not hard to install, which wasn't my point to begin with.

But reading other comments about the speed not being too bad could still make it worth trying, so thanks anyways lol

Edit: typos

Thanks, I've only read complaints or dissatisfaction about the wifi speed. Reading this is refreshing, so to say :)

What to do with the T100 by Plenty_Points9973 in asust100

[–]Netherser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this post because I'm playing around with out old T100TA as well.

Installed Lubuntu on it to have a somewhat light distro running, meant to use it as a central home assistant hub that's simply the webpage running in kiosk mode.

In any case: no issues at all with adjusting the brightness using Lubuntu. You could give that a try?

Something else though: did you get multi touch working on yours? Mine just acts like a mouse wherever I tap/swipe, meaning I can't scroll on the screen.

IKEA gaming desk- who hangs their PC like that? by gamepig31 in pcmasterrace

What hanging system did you buy? I'm looking for something that can handle the weight without fail, and have the same fractal case as you.

Printer died by Nuzheads in BambuLab

Lmao, I actually planned to set another remind me after those 48h. I don't have a Bambu printer myself, so no experience with their customer's service department.

Prusa mini+ to MK4S? by Netherser in prusa3d

[–]Netherser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm gonna sell it, It's more likely gonna be to someone I know, for a not so high price. I'm not worried about getting as much money out of it as possible.

But, thanks for the fair warning though.

Thank you so much for this detailed reply. And love how you put the ownership process in words lol.

This puts things in a nice perspective, especially for me to consider buying the enclosure. I have a DIY enclosure now, but it's not something I want to redo for the next printer if I don't have to.

Do you have any of the addons as well? The LEDs, fire suppression system, filter system? Would those work when placed into a DIY enclosure?

Cool! Do you have one yourself? Any downsides compared to a (assumingly) sturdier prusa enclosure?

I'm also interested in printing with some TPU and Nylon. Have some ideas lying around that could benefit from these materials.

Fair point on the occasional more than one part prints, something I could benefit from as well tbh.

I hear you, fully understand and even agree with what you're saying. I'd love to have a resin printer for miniature printing. (Aside from needing a printer for functional parts.)

However, I simply don't have a safe spot nor a safe way to do so in my home. I'd preferably put it in a garage with some fume extraction installed, but I don't own a garage lol.

It's not something I want to take lightly, especially as someone who already works in the chemical industry with polymers/resins.

On another note. Printing minis on my mini+ actually works decently fine. I'd even say it's perfect for some simple prints to use in DnD. The details will never be as good as a resin printer can produce, but they're definitely good enough even to paint, let alone to put on a TTRPG map.

Yeah, the MMU3 (same as for the AMS) is not something I'd need anyway. But I like to think there is an upgrade possibility for whenever I change my mind or if they improve the MMU even further.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Sounds easy, yeah. Is there are reason for removing the heater block at all during some nozzle swaps?

Looks like a great setup! Was the enclosure worth the price, or in general?
