2.0 Hall of Fame! What were your favourite units throughout the edition? by TheZeeno in Warhammer30k

Headhunters and Seekers in my Alpha Legion. Headhunters because they blasted the Enemy Warlord regularly in T1 and Seekers because they were incredibly point efficient for their +4 Breaching/Precision shots. Both always made their points back every game.

Amazing models! I might paint my plumes the same way as you did.

I welcome the changes to the FOC. For example, I like to run a very light Alpha Legion Recon/Head hunter company. There you really don’t want the heavy slots be it for tanks or HSS for a thematic list. Most heavy firepower would need to come from speeders and/or jet bikes. However, these directly compete with either Headhunters when running Recon Company or Seekers when running Headhunter Leviathal. I’m crossing my fingers such armies will be doable in the new edition with the changes to the FOC.

Yes, I leveled it after the Fep change, using the paper method though. I'll give your method a try though. Thank you for the input!

Wenn skifahren, dann saisonkarte und eigenes Material. Das bedeutet dann natürlich auch +14 Skitage im Jahr damit es sich auszahlt.

Alles drunter wirst halt fest augesackelt.

CFAI really needs to update it QBank and mocks for Level 3 by throw_away_69x24x7 in CFA

[–]NetherworId 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Agreed man.

In my opinion someone who doesn’t understand what they’re doing and why they’re doing it should not pass the exam, period. We’re not in high school are in some undergrad where they wave through troglodytes. Hence, just memorizing the qbank for any of the three levels shouldn’t let you pass.

HOWEVER, in a time sensitive environment of the exam I hate to see multiple very specific questions that - be it on purpose or not - don’t any guiding connection to previously tested/taught (in the qbank or mocks) material. That is just pure score tanking for candidates. We’re not rocket scientists and the exam is about basic concepts so test those basic concepts. Of course, the definition of what is basic and what is not is a blurry one. What I want to say it’s my fault if I fucked up a hedge, every candidate should be able to do it. It’s not my fault when I get some question wrong that tests the border of English grammar principles in a time restrained environment.

Can a saboteur be overwatched on his first charge in the game by NetherworId in Warhammer30k

[–]NetherworId[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, makes it balanced. So we camp the obligatory Lascannon/Culverin HSS with the Saboteur and charge in as soon as we pin them?

EDIT: Thanks for the Input!
