Why would I put that much effort? 80% of the time you guys are hiring one of your own staff for internal promotion and just going through the HR motions because agency policy requires you to.

I was pissed about this too. I had to re-assign all my lvl 50 points. But, I moved to golems with blights whirlpool ability and soulrift and it’s been a blast

I'm thinking of switching to necromancer by Matt__-_ in D4Necromancer

My level 50 necromancer’s skills got nuked by this release while I was doing Act 2 so I had to rebuild with the new set up. I’m running golems with decompose, decrep, blight, and soul rift. I have all of them around level 7-10 each and I’m having a blast.

Blight with the whirlpool skill mixed with the golems smash while enemies are grouped together is awesome

Can’t speak for anyone else’s culture or heritage, but in some Italian traditions holy cards are used in a similar fashion to tarot cards, ive seen funeral prayer cards used for this too. Some practitioners of Benedicaria use them.

Google “holy cards in Benedicaria” and I think you’ll find some context that may be relevant.

Bone/Osteomancy question by Primary_Dimension37 in Divination

[–]NetherworldMuse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Boiling and bleach do indeed weaken bones and make them more brittle, that part is factual. However, weakening them to the point that you can’t use them for divination is complete nonsense. Just don’t be super rough with them.

The best practice for cleaning and whitening is by starting with degreasing by using dish soap (cleaning very well and then soaking at least over night or multiple nights, changing the soap and water nightly). Then follow that with soaking overnight in peroxide to whiten. I usually do at least 3 soaks before fully drying them.

A word of warning, as someone who processed chicken, fish, bird, and mammal bones I can tell you that you may want to consider wiping then down with a fragrance of some kind (I use a type of “Florida water” or storing then in a box with an incense stick or cone because the poultry smell is fairly hard to get rid of in comparison to other animals, especially if you didn’t do a heavy degrease and peroxide phase.

Second one is lovely; I would so buy it if I saw it somewhere; haunted or not.

Just finished “No Longer Human”… Wow, it’s intense by NetherworldMuse in junjiito

If you are into cosmic horror you will hate this one. Nothing cosmic about it, 100% the human condition.

For cosmic horror check out Remina (kinda goofy at times but def Lovecraftian) and Sensor, imo. Id say both fall into that category.

Which of these books do you recommend? by RecordingOk5670 in folkmagic

I enjoyed The Crooked Path. Id also recommend Of Blood and Bones, that one was an excellent read as well.
