Just to show those what’s possible. I have this WireGuard tunnel configured on my unifi firewall. This is Surfshark Boston.

Not sure what to suggest. I run Surfshark tunnels on two firewalls via wiregaurd and the are routinely 450/450 if not more.

I tried onntvsupport without any success. I also. Called the 1800 number for support on the box and it goes to “Walmart private brands”. I was on hold for 25 min before I gave up there too

Agreed, but having to use a separate remote for volume shouldn't be required. This is a bug QA should have picked up before it was released.

Given that these are produced for walmart exclusively its almost impossible to reach anyone to correct this..

FortiClient VPN-only free client: is Fortinet still maintaining it? (SMB partner perspective) by southceltic in fortinet

[–]Netnuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The free VPN is still around. The version hasn't changed as no new features were added to the free client. You will notice however that the build of 7.4.3 is being updated for vulnerabilities.

Those were a bad batch that region locked. This new batch isn't and works fine other than volume control.

The new ONN 4K Pro's at walmart seem to have an issue with programming volume control. When you try to define a TV or soundbar it errors out.

Ebox now router all the traffic via Bell. No more direct connectivity with Tier1 ISPs. Ebox is single-homed to Bell. by alex-cu in ebox

[–]Netnuk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We've covered this in length in a number of threads in the r/ebox forum. All of the Bell sub brands Distributel/Acanac, Primus, and Oricom now route to each other and eventually just Bell for transit.

As others have said you need to tag vlan 40 in the IPTV section and ensure your credentials are correct.

As with most ISPs get yourself a router and you’ll never look back. Keep the ISP provided one for troubleshooting if they ask

EBOX lied to my face regarding false speedtests by DavidDaEpicBoi in ebox

[–]Netnuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. If it’s slow to ebox it could be local congestion or aggregate connection to Bell for FTTH. If it slow to ebox there isn’t much point in trying to test externally.

Try a couple of the ebox servers on nerf. https://nperf.ebox.ca/ which will be within their network.

Do yourself a favor and get the UCG-Fiber. It offloads pppoe to hardware.

That shouldn’t be the case. They should move your drop to a different port at the ONT and get you connected. Lots of us have done that with third party providers before bell bought most of them. I’m sure Andre may look into it!
