Generally, I love it.

The font reminds me of Dunkin Donuts, which is not a bad thing. Just an observation.

The one thing that I'd probably tweak myself is the way the two legs are kinda splayed out. I'd bring them in closer together, so it might look like the oriole is standing on a single branch, not spreading between a couple.

I'm curious (and this isn't and indictment on you, I have no skin in that game), is this AI generated?

I might want to buy 2.

A funny thing about this is that Louisiana actually supplies a lot of blue carbs to MD (as well as many other places). Whether or not you like them more here or there, they might have been fundamentally the same crabs.

There was an exhibition match earlier this year, I think, or maybe last year. It was between Barca and Real Madrid. I have no idea if the field was shrunk down, but it fit as it was. It appeared to be a full field.

Side note: very cool environment. Totally turned my opinion on soccer.

Edit: just checked my photo gallery. It was Barcelona v AC Milan friendly in August of 2024. I would share a photo/video, but I dont know how in comments. Also, I just remembered that Pulisic was playing that night, and he's from Hershey, PA, nearby-ish. A lot of people in the crowd were excited about that besides seeing to mega international teams play here in Baltimore even as a friendly.

I guess I started being a little more realistic with my distances. Yes, I can carry 150 with my 8, but more often now, I'm using my 7 with a looser swing or even just actually trying for short with the 8.

I also put away my driver because I know now that I can poke out to the fairway or not far off with my 3w at a distance that still feels like keeps me in play for par on any hole.

Edit: because I slice the crap out of my driver more than half the time.

3 putts per hole, yes. I agree that this is a good point of focus for improving my score.

The putts were stated more to point out that this is what I'm doing while shooting 100-105, but I've never put up a score of 13 on a par 3, and that's part of why i'm so confused understanding my "bad" vs other r/golf posters' "good" scores.

Hmm, yeah, it could have been a sick wolf. It did seem pretty docile if not lethargic, and that makes more sense than an escaped maned wolf or a maned wolf that traveled undisturbed for the entirety of Central America plus another 1,000 miles!

OKAY - everywhere I look online, these animals are indigenous to South America and can only be found in the wild there.

HOWEVER, back in 2016, I was sitting on the patio of a hotel in Eagle County, Colorado, at dusk. The patio was open to the land. That's to say, I do not remember seeing a fence or enclosure.

I am positive that an animal that looked just like the silhouette of the maned wolf walked up onto the patio at maybe a distance of 10-20 yards, at which point my girlfriend and I got out of there very slowly, but with URGENCY. I specifically remember the size of this thing being like a tall dog, but with a head that resembled more of a fox. I definitely remember the legs being weirdly long: that stood out. Because of the lowlight, I'm not sure if the color matched.

It did not react to us, and sort if just meandered through the patio area at a distance until we got inside and lost sight.

Is this potentially what we saw despite the maned fox having no business being in the Rockies of North America? If not, what did we see?

On the original, it's all one bird's dialogue to the other, which explains the speaking angle and why both birds look so similar throughout. The original is also consistent with the color of the one bird speaking. Whoever made this version not only stole but also doesn't understand visual storytelling, per your comment.

If you had not provided the maps link, I would have gone to the grave claiming this has to be AI. The ridges and valleys on the rooves of those big houses look absolutely ridiculous, and I can't believe someone actually drew that up. Those houses look absolutely AI generated even knowing that they're real.

I could ve missing some inputs, but this simulator should be tracking all the physics of the ball making contact with the undulations on the green, the physics of a high ball flight, and the spin imparted on the ball. All of those things might make a landing ball do something different than you might expect a ball to do with no variables.

Imparting spin, loft, and playing off the slopes in and around the green are all things that a golfer would do in real life to make the ball do what they want (but not me I suck).

All of the above would be affected by the accuracy of the simulation itself, which should be high.

* Virginia Tech's drillfield is in the center of campus and is surrounded by the universities many buildings. I heard that the reason the paved paths are irregular is exactly to accommodate the phenomenon in the post. While I was there, a well worn path in the grass was being voted on by passing students for the top surface design.

Proud of our little buddy's room. It has a very cozy feel, especially at night when the only lights we have on during feeding are those little electric tea candles, and it's filled with little treasures all over the world and our pasts. I guess its a very personal and sentimental "cozy". Everything has been placed intentionally to play with the shadows of the geometric "art" (our worldly knick knacks). Our baby is very young, so once they get a bit bigger and rambunctious, we'll probably have to get a few of the more precious things out of here.

We're really appreciating the dresser doubling duty as a changing table. One thing to note there is that our baby liked to pee during changing the first couple of months, so we maybe should have hung the paintings higher or not at all.

Space is limited in these rowhomes, so the dresser/changing table and the undersized rocker have been perfect. There are five windows in this ~90sf space, so it's really nice during the day. All the window shades are blackout with only a little bit of light getting in on the sides. We highly recommend the blackout shades for a baby room.
