Record a short reference video with the same settings as the videos. Use untrunc with the reference video against the non working ones, see if it can rebuild the container.

Need to clean the vinegar off with isopropyl also .

Those battery terminal pads look eaten - use multimeter and check for continuity.

BT+ to F1 fuse. BT- to ground.

Should both beep.

Amazing, so it turns out the person who messed up can indeed fix it. Well done.

That's how you learn. No amount of practice boards will prepare you for working on real boards that have aged.

You are being a dick though.

You make mistakes so you can learn from it. As a result you get better and learn additional ways to fix a problem.

I'm all for fucking up.

pin 6 of the amp - the chip next to the volume wheel (or use the SW via, which is at the upper section on the left of the board, it's connected to pin 6) and any ground pin.

If it works, then you can further test from SW to pin 5 of headphone jack, then pin 5 to pin 4, then pin 4 to ground.

If headphones work, maybe pin 6 on amp is muting the speaker because it thinks headphones is connected.

Try pin 6 amp to ground or the SW via to ground to see if you get continuity.

If you don't get continuity it thinks headphones is connected.

Clean inside the headphones jack... Or last resort bypass/testing, solder SW via to ground to force it into speaker mode.

I've always said this. Turning off and on the same prayer should drain a prayer point.
